How will this affect dkh?

Does this maintain your current levels or will it increase it if you had say 380 calc when adding it? Will it go up into the 400s?

Can you this directly in display tank or does it have to be a sump?

I am confused by the description and the picture. They don't match. Is this the 2lbs box with the 24 individual blocks? Or is this a jar of supplement
