Merrell Men's Moab 3 Low Tactical Work Shoes

Suprisingly these shoes fit me like a glove out of the box. I didn't really need a break in period, which is rare. The toe box is a bit big which makes it feel loose at the toes, but that works for my feet. The rounded heel on the outsole has been helping me deal with an old heel injury. The water proof factor seems to work, unless i get water on my feet just barely above the ankle.

I was buying Hi Techs for years until a friend recommended Merrell to me. The Hi Techs had hollow tread that wore out in just a few hundred miles of hiking, the inner linings always had to be glue in, and the toe became detached. I've bought three Merrells, the first of which I am still waiting to wear out, a replacement pair, and this gift for my son. Seems to be a good shoe. Pricing seems to be all over the scale, from $50 to $120.

Very comfortable great everyday shoes

I’m a mail man I wore these day one and the dew from the grass walking through yards got my feet wet. These are far from waterproof.

I play disc golf in them. They are slightly stiff when brand new.
