Rectangular Yoga Bolster - Meditation Pillow with Washable Suede Cover, 27"X10" X5.5"

The Wellsin yoga bolster pillow is great! I have enjoyed using it just as much as I enjoyed its “Pop Goes the Weasel” packaging! The pillow will quickly expand the moment you remove it from its original packaging. Just an added bit of one-time fun!The Wellsin yoga pillow is firm, not squishy. It is still soft and comfortable, but it is firmer than the ones that I have used at yoga studios. It is also larger than expected, not a problem – just a comment.The color, the quality of the materials, the construction, and design are all top notch. I love it and look forward to keeping it with me through my yoga classes.

Everything about this bolster is just right, from its finely woven cotton bag to the care with which invisible zippers are sewn into both the inner and outer covers. Even the synthetic-fiber plush case feels nice to the touch, not icky, and its color--which I'd call a deep aqua, more blue than green--is really pretty too. The level of support is in that Goldilocks sweet spot: firm but yielding. My body relaxed down into it as soon as I stretched out to do a few restorative poses. I'm looking forward to incorporating this into my practice.The bolster and bag arrived with no odor, another sign of quality. My hypersensitive nose did detect a whiff of something from the plush outer cover at first, so I aired it overnight just to be safe and there was no smell by the next morning. The only negative I have to report was comical: I had my face close to the clear plastic vacuum pack containing the compressed foam bolster, cutting it open very carefully, when BAAM! it suddenly sprang open and bopped me hard on the nose. So watch out--this thing looks peaceful but it packs a punch!

This is a very well made bolster. It is well made and sturdy. The pillow is soft but firm. The cover is removable and can be thrown in the wash. It even came with a carry bag which was nice. It is the perfect addition to my yoga routine.

The Wellsin Yoga Bolster is perfect for yin and restorative yoga, as well as for modified postures in a vinyasa practice. It’s also quite lovely for meditation, as well. I was tickled by the wonderful unpacking experience. The pillow, cover, and drawstring case are neatly vacuum-sealed in a cylindrical form. I carefully opened the package and out popped the bolster! I had a great experience both teaching and practicing with the pillow and the firmness is perfect for my taste. I think it will last a while.The materials are good, as is the construction. The invisible zipper is applied neatly and without any threads hanging from the manufacturing process. The zipper also tucks away under the handle so it’s less likely to come undone during practice (or ever, really). The cotton drawstring storage bag is a nice touch, and it’s easily dyed if you want a bit of color.

I have the pillow in Blue.It is one of those foam pillows that expand when you remove it from its plastic sealed wrap. The pillow case is a soft sueded microfiber. I like that you can remove the cover and machine wash it.This pillow is soft yet firm and supportive.Pros:* Color choices. Nicely made bolster. Nice cover.The batting covering the foam has some ridges in it, so the surface of my bolster isn’t totally smooth. The cloth of the cover is soft and nice. The bolster is light weight, which is good for carrying to a yoga class if you want.This bolster is on the thinner side width wise. I’ve used a LOT of different brands of bolsters - this one is the thinnest (width wise) of the rectangle bolsters I’ve ever used. It’s more like the round bolsters that just have stuffing in them and then get flattened out.Comparing it to all the other firm and soft bolsters I’ve used, I consider this one squishy in some ways, because all of the edges squish down a lot quicker and more than many other bolsters I’ve used. I think it’s more noticeable with this bolster because it’s thinner width wise, and so if you’re doing a supported reclined posture - like a fish or some heart opener - if you wiggle the torso from side to side, it’s easier to collapse the side edge and roll off more if you aren’t careful.It’s good if you want a thinner width bolster, good for under the knees, folding over, kneeling on, and for kids.I wish it didn’t have the batting ridges under the cover layers, because the covers aren’t thick enough to hide the ridges.It didn’t have a horrible smell. The bolster fits the cover (unlike some I used before). It’s fine for what it is. I still prefer my Everyday Yoga rectangle bolsters for comfort, ease of use, and being lightweight.

This bolster has been such a great addition to my workout. Not only can I use it for yoga, but it has been great for working with weights. I am able to get so much more out of my workout when using this, but it has also been saving my back during those floor exercises with dumbbells. My husband has been using it as well to help with his stretching since he struggles with flexibility. It is firm but still cushioned. The green cover is removeable and washable as is the travel bag it comes with. When it first arrived, I thought how on earth is a bolster in this small box, but once you take it out of its vacuumed sealed packaging it folds open right to its full form. It is exactly what I was looking for and needing. I am very pleased!

This is a very good bolster. It offer support. It came with a shortage bag. The cover can be washed. It is very therapeutic for restoration yoga and yin yoga practitioner. Student who practice Iyengar yoga will find that it meets the need for proper alignment in the asanas.
