I've used these types of foot ascenders for a 'few' years now and believe it' always worth having one as a backup even when you aren't necessarily planning on using themNormally climb trees, structures or bridges rather than rock climbing for extreme geocaching and I didn't have any problems with this modelUseful to have as a backup, but make sure you try it out and test before hand to make sure you know the technique, the worst time to try for the first time is if you're stuck down a wet shaft - luckily in my case I had used these previously and it was a case of muscle memory that just worked

Ich konnte diese bisher nur einmal testen - da ging das alles genau so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Die Klemme ist nicht Sicherheitsrelevant beim technischen Klettern - daher auch keine CE Pflicht. Die Mechanismen gehen leichtgängig und das Seil lässt sich gut einlegen.Die Schlinge um den Fuss ist sehr schön stabil und auch einfach zu bedienen.Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
