BAUHAUS

The book sheds light on various aspects of the movement, that I had not known from conventional books on Bauhaus. So good read for me.

I've been meaning to buy this book for many years, finally bought it when the price dropped to a reasonable level. The book is hardbound with a dust jacket and quiet unwieldy compared to the soft bound version. I also feel that the printing is not as good as the older editions from 15 years ago. As to the content, you need to make your own judgement. I did find it quiet useful for my purposes. Considering the history of Bauhaus, there could have been more pictures.

Amazing book! Must read for anybody who's found of Modernist architecture.

Mostly inside the book is a history of bauhaus itself. It is written very well and it used a good picture. It is very useful for someone who wants to learn about history of design like me
