Works well and easy to apply
This privacy glass is ideal for you if you don't want to have to draw your curtains in the day time, but don't really want to go the net curtain route. They do cut the light down a little but not to the extent that you need to turn the lights on... and do bear in mind that they work on the principle of obscuring the view of the side that is dimmer in the first place, so if you turn the light on at night, you'll have a nice mirror, but passers=by will be able to see everything you do.The film is easy to apply and as long as you make sure the window is clean and you smooth out air bubbles as you go, it should stay adhered for a good while.Works well, I recommend it.

Good set but application is fiddly
The window film itself is OK value, though slightly expensive, though prices for this product seem to be the same as all other brands for one way films. I'm not sure why one way films are so expensive on Amazon, yet far cheaper on other chinese sites we all know. It's nice they provide you with all the tools you need for the job. The tools work great. Only two complains are 1. I don't like that it darkens the light in the room, however this seems to be normal across the board for one way privacy films in general, and 2. that it's 30cm wide, meaning it's very fiddly and you need to use two sheets. For a standard bedroom window you'd need to buy two than one to cover everything, or pay over 20 quid for the larger sizes, you'd need multiple sheets which would have a line in the middle, and you'd have to ensure you don't mess up as you'd not have enough excess. I messed up and got a hair stuck to mine somehow! So just ensure you're prepared for one chance only. Overall its OK and not really the products fault per se. Just wish it were cheaper and application in general was less fiddly but that's more just me!

Not as opaque as I’d like
Doesn’t work as well as I’d hoped. Can still see in during the day. Was easy to apply and fit.

Very easy to apply if you do the right things.
I got this to cover the glass pane in our kitchen door, which is overlooked by next-doors lounge due to the hill we are on. Note that turning on a light in the kitchen will allow people to see in, but in daylight people just see a mirrored surface.I've done similar things before so I followed the instructions carefully but used mineral water instead of tap water. Very important to carefully clean the glass first as well, leaving no streaks or dust. I cut the film to the exact size by carefully pushing a steel ruler into the glass/wooden door frame corner and running a razor-sharp scalpel down it. It now looks like part of the glass.Judging from my earlier attempts at this type of glass covering, I'm glad I knew the pitfalls.

Effective Privacy Solution with Linarun One Way Window Film
The Linarun One Way Window Film has proven to be a reliable privacy solution, earning a solid 4-star rating for its effectiveness and practicality. This window film is designed to provide privacy without compromising natural light. Installed in my home office, it effectively blocks UV rays and reduces glare, creating a more comfortable environment for work and relaxation. The brown tint adds a touch of elegance to the windows while enhancing privacy during the day. It allows me to enjoy the outside view without worrying about prying eyes from the outside, which is especially beneficial in urban or high-traffic areas.Installation was straightforward, thanks to the adhesive backing that adheres securely to glass windows. The film is easy to cut to size and apply without the need for professional assistance. It adheres well to the glass surface and doesn’t peel off easily once properly installed. While the film provides excellent daytime privacy, its effectiveness may diminish at night when interior lights are on, requiring additional window treatments for complete privacy. Additionally, the brown tint may not complement every interior design scheme, so consideration of aesthetics is important.Overall, the Linarun One Way Window Film offers a practical solution for enhancing privacy and reducing glare in home and office settings. Its ease of installation, UV-blocking capabilities, and daytime privacy make it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to improve their living or working space.

Exceeded expectations
My use of this product was not quite as intended. My front door has obscured glass but you can still recognise objects through the glass. If I'm going away, to prevent passers-by from seeing a pile of post building up under the letterbox, I have been gaffer-taping masking paper to the window. This works but looks unsightly inside and is not a permanent solution. I thought I'd try the privacy film instead and it works brilliantly. The installation went amazingly smoothly. I was surprised by the product's ease of application and also by my skills in applying it. I would suggest anyone with moderate practical skills should be able to apply this without much trouble. It is important to ensure the window and work area are totally clean before starting to avoid contamination. Rolled inside the tube of the film are most of the tools you need for application; a snap-off knife, a spray bottle and a squeegee. The included tools worked very well, additional items I used were a metal ruler, a cutting mat and the slip solution comprising water and washing-up liquid. As I received the product for free through the Vine programme not all sizes were available to me. This made the job harder as it was not large enough to install in one piece and I had to apply it in two pieces. It is possible to join two pieces neatly but, in some conditions, the join is slightly noticeable. I would advise purchasing a roll of the correct size to allow you to install the film in one piece. The result is great. From the inside the window is just tinted with a bluish tint. From the outside, you can see reflections of the ground and environment but not what's sat on the doormat. The film has been installed for a few weeks now and is firmly affixed, showing no sign of peeling off.Based on my experience I would recommend this product and at £14.99 for a 40 x 200 cm roll, I think it is well priced.
