a staple snack
the best thing about this is that you can control exactly what is used to make the popcorn, making it a great low-calorie snack. industrially produced microwavable/pressure cooker popcorn has tons of additives that are probably best avoided if you really love the snack and have it often enough. half to one tablespoon of high-quality oil, along with 50g of these kernels and some salt is more than enough to keep 2-4 people entertained. the best part is that you can add additional seasonings to make it taste more unique, but also exactly the way you want it to taste!i used a tip from a youtube video comment to cook this popcorn to near perfection, so i'll also paste it here:1) I pour the oil in my pot2) Put three kernels in the pot with the top on and turn the stove to medium-high (closer to medium).3) Shake the pot every once and awhile, wait for the all three kernels to pop4) Add all the kernels in, take it off the heat for 30 seconds and shake it to evenly coat the kernels in oil, then place it back on the heat.5) Then just shake it fairly frequently (with the lid cracked a tiny bit, makes the popcorn more crispy) and wait till you hear no more popping (or popping slows down quite a bit).Haha, it sounds confusing, but it's very simple and I find this the best way to never burn it and you barely have any uncooked popcorn kernels afterwards.ย source: @keetz15, under the video titled "How to make Popcorn on the Stove (Homemade, Easy and Quick)- BenjiManTV"the video itself is uninformative at best, but there are many comments under it that give you good tips on how to make the most perfect popcorn in a pressure cooker.

Packaging was a bit shoddy. However d kernels are not so bad for its price. Original MRP on the packet states 325/- but on amazon its selling for 275/-.A lot of ppl, like me, to save time will use the microwave. I tried the bag method in the microwave with terrible results. More than half of d corns did not pop and the rest which did was popcorn ke naam me dhabba. So i searched for a recipe instead of wasting food in d microwave. What i found and tried is the best thing i ever did. This recipe is simple and quick and easy and most importantly no burnt popcorns. It requires gas stove ๐๐- Take a heavy bottomed saucepan/kadai.- Pour about 2-3 tablespoon oil. Sunflower (high smoke point).- Add half teaspoon of salt.- Let it heat (medium to high flame).-Put 2-3 corn and let it pop.- Once it pops turn off the gas. The oil at this point is hot enough so add half a cup of corn (dont overcrowd them, lay them flat). This will ensure that all the corn will reach the same temperature at the same time so that all will pop simultaneously.- Then Count 30 seconds.- Put it back to heat on gas with medium flame.- Cover d corn and let it pop. Do not cover d lid entirely otherwise the steam will make d popcorn soggy.- Once the popping is reduced to 1-2 pops per seconds then u know u r done.- Serve.Edit: 2+ years laterI purchased this bag in 2017. Overdosed on pop corns still about 2 cups worth of kernels were left. I left the bag sealed and shut in an air tight container and forgot about it until this May 2020 when I was cleaning d pantry๐. With much apprehension I opened the bag to find them just the way they were when I last saw them. So, I thought I should give it a pop b4 I discard them for good. I did. It popped as well as the first day i used it. In fact, idk, the corn tasted better (is it a thing? Like you do with aged rice. The older the better?) Though I do not recommend eating anything stale but this darn lockdown got the better of me. Almost mid June and I am still alive.
