Works good. I zero in 25 yards for 100. Only was off about 4 inches which is a quick adjustment. So I would definitely recommend.

My bottom line up front is that I think I will keep it and use it for the purpose it is intended for. That said the purpose is to align sight with center bore axis of weapon (for the first time). The intent is to be close enough so that when you put your point of aim on a target at whatever distance you prefer to zero at, the point of impact will at least be on the target somewhere (being on paper). As opposed to lost out there and totally miss the target area. I remember way back in the day it once took me about 9 rounds to put a hole on the target area. From there you adjust the sight whether it be a laser, red dot, scope or iron sights to the point of impact. My experience so far was to align a laser sight on my handgun as it was just replaced. Since this is a small pistol with a 1.9 inch barrel it is intended for conceal carry and self defense at point blank range. I attempted to align these lasers up at approx 50ft during a cloudy day. To my surprise I could not see the laser that far away on target. But no big deal as I couldn't see the pistol laser either. My thinking is to use this at night to align them. Also note the use of laser on this handgun is mostly for low light and night use anyhow as when you can't really see the front and rear sights well enough to align. I tested laser at night and I can easily see the beam around 300 ft away in the dark as well as the pistol laser. The mfgr claims to be able to align sights out to 200 yards or so? I don't know for sure on that (I didn't try this for rifle yet) but the target area would have to be very dark to see laser so take it for what it is worth. Either do this at night or somehow have an extremely dark target area to see laser during day even at 50 feet. The product seems well made and the bore adapters are of good quality, you basically get two of every size. and the beam calibration seems perfect as delivered. If you put the beam on a target and rotate laser 180 degree the beam should not change position or move as mine did not, it was rock solid. It simply is not a crazy powerful highly visible laser that you can see easily in daytime conditions without some target area prep. For the bargain price keep your expectations within reason and with that in mind I recommend the kit. If you use this like 10 times it should almost pay for itself by NOT wasting rounds and time. I’m really impressed with this laser bore sight kit. It’s simple to set up, the adapters fit everything I own, and the green laser is bright and easy to pick up even in daylight. What I like most is how much time and ammo it saves — I can get on paper fast and make clean adjustments before ever heading to the range. The build quality feels solid, the upgraded adapters hold tight, and the whole kit just works the way it should. For the price, it’s honestly one of the most useful tools I’ve added to my gear in a long time. I’m very happy with it and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants quick, accurate bore sighting without any hassle.

For the price, you really can't go wrong. Aside from that, you really can't go wrong at all. I keep some of the dummy rounds with lasers as a backup or double check but they don't seem to be quite as accurate. Plus, for the cost of two of those, I can get this with adapters for 64 different calibers and the laser is about twice as good. Most of the little dummy rounds have a dot that is visible to about 20-25 yards in daylight but the Visiofire is good up to about 40 yards depending on the background surface you are using. My tip to purchasing the right color is to get the color of dot that is opposite of what you use in your sights. I prefer Green Dot sights so I went with a red dot bore sighter. If you get the same color, they kind of blend in together and it is a little challenging to really pin the settings down. Just a couple of things that I would be remiss without mentioning: #1 - I wish that there were some kind of instructions included. It took me a few weeks before I realized that the plastic adapters expanded as you screwed them further and further into the barrel, creating a tighter and more accurate fit. So, pick the biggest adapter that fits without being screwed down into the barrel, then fully seat the bore sighter assembly in the barrel and twist the laser body until everything is very tight and secure. Pros probably are thinking "well, duh" beginners might not realize this at first. I didn't. #2 - Check that the laser is aligned out of the box. I fought with a misaligned laser for several months and a decent amount of money spent on ammo before I figured out the laser was misaligned. How do you check? Mount the bore sight assembly into the barrel and tighten everything down like you are going to zero in the firearm. Then, while the laser is turned on and pointed at the wall, twist the laser body 1 full revolution. If the dot doesn't stay focused in one place then it is misaligned and you are gonna have a bad time. The first one I purchased had a laser whose dot would move around in a circle across the wall when I would twist the barrel of the bore sight. Visiofire support quickly resolved it with a new one and without issue. The new one is aligned perfectly. Overall, great buy. It isn't a replacement for going out and doing a final zero check with live ammo but it will get you on the paper and close enough that adjustments are minimal, saving you time and ammo. Takes the guesswork out of things.
