The best invention ever for sensitive pets.
I can't say enough good things about this product! It's truly the best invention ever for my sensitive pets. Both my cat and dog used to be so uncomfortable with other grooming tools, but this one has been a game-changer. It's gentle, effective, and they both actually enjoy being groomed now. The quality is outstanding, and it has made grooming a much more pleasant experience for all of us. Highly recommend to anyone with pets that need a little extra care!

Unique, a few thoughts so far
This is one I will definitely have to come back after using for a bit with a stronger opinion on.It’s a different style than I’ve seen before so I was very eager to try it. I have an English bulldog. My previous boy was Merle and had a thicker coat so I used different brushes on him at different times of the year. With bulldogs having such sensitive skin, it can be quite difficult to find the right products that are effective, affordable, quality, and non irritating. My current bulldog is only around 29 lbs, lilac tri coloring. This is a shorter softer fur than Merle. That being said, the old brushes just don’t fit the same need.Serena just turned 1 last week, and with the weather switching from winter to summer, no in between, her lower back is shedding like crazy.I am really hoping this brush/comb works out.Thoughts so far:Seems much less likely to cause an irritation to her sensitive skin than other typesNot quite sure yet how effective this will be. It feels like it may only be getting the surface hair, which was already loose. It doesn’t bother her or seem painful, she just wants to turn around and chew it. She loves being brushed. It does have a similar feel of a dog chew tog, so be careful where you leave this.Like some other styles, you do have to have a decent hold on it and without a long handle also get a little tiring.I will be using this a lot over the next week, as her fur just needs it right now. I’ll be sure to give come back with a stronger feel on this.I will point out that the packaging states it’s good for all lengths of hair …. Though I have not tried it, it doesn’t give me the impression it would work for longer hair. Again, I have not tried it for that, just initial thoughts are that it would possibly tug at the hair more than brush it, and I’m not sure how it would reach through long or thick layers.

does not work for Australian Shepherds
this tool is very tiny and does not work on pets with long double coats. you are better off using an undercoat rake instead. I also thought this tool was very flimsy and not good quality compared to cheaper options out there.

Good for light maintenance and relaxation
This tool worked nicely on my long-haired cat to remove the loose fur on top, but it wasn't as effective at getting the undercoat. She did enjoy it a lot when I was using it on her, so it works great for relaxation and bonding time. I found that it was SUPER effective when I used it in combination with her regular go-to brush. Alternating those two things worked wonders!!On my short-haired cat, this tool was perfect. No other brush required, this did the trick and got tons of fur out. So overall, depending on the fur type of your pet and the result you're looking for, I would recommend this product!

Great massager, but with a few problems as a comb.
I've got a very old dog that gets agitated when moved. He's got canine dementia but is still going strong in other ways. He's a Havanese and he's 17.5 years old.So I got this Fur Cobra and tried it out. One thing that is great about it is that it calms him down much better than petting. It just seems to mellow him out and encourages him to settle. It doesn't work all the time, but it works about 80% of the time and that is a good thing. When I got it, he was ready for a trim. So he was very shaggy, and the Fur Cobra had no problem with the hair/fur. But unlike a slicker brush or a hair brush, it does not collect the loose hairs, so you have puffs of hair flying all over. It's not a deal breaker but if you are hoping this will help you with a dog who blows their coat, this probably isn't something you want to use inside - outside, it gives the birds something to make nests out of.After he got clipped - a close puppy cut (basically a shave down because he's hard to keep clean and he just doesn't car to clean himself. He is not cat like!) And with the short hair, I'm not getting the same relaxation from him, but his hair grows fast, so I'm sure we will be there again.Because it's just a bar, I'm not sure how comfortable it will be when working on a large dog. On a little dog, you finish pretty quickly.I like it because it's easy to use and the dog likes it. But for removing loose hair, I'm not getting rid of my slicker brush even though the dog doesn't like it much but it really gets the hairs. If you have a new pet or are trying to bond with a pet, this is likely a great tool to use for some quality time with your pet. I think it could be used on most pets with fur. I have no idea if birds would like it - they might... But it's nice for providing a massage like experience which can help form pleasant associations for your pet.
