This was a pleasant surprise. This is big scissors. Much bigger than what I was expecting.And it is really well made. The plastic is perfectly molded and looks very durable. Its a precision engineered product.The steel is very sharp and the scissor blades are serrated for retaining their sharpness for a long time as well as making the cuts with less effort due to increased surface area.The piece I got has blades which are easily 4 mm thick and very strong.Though I have not used the notches under the finger and thumb support for cracking any walnuts, I did test the result of squeezing hard on a wooden dowel. It almost sliced through it. Very nice.This will be very useful as a go-to scissors for all my DIY projects and general use as the primary scissors in my tool kit.I recommend this highly. Nice piece, good finish. Very durable.

A good quality kitchen scissors. Ideal for cutting fins, chicken skin , cartilage etc.. One does not need to use the kitchen knife for trimming fat or soft joints. I have not used it for cutting bones because this can be done with a cleaver. The blades are heavy and sharp. The packing is ample as it's put in a blister pack. The blades have to be cleaned and kept dry after use. The finish is very good and steel blades have weight. The size is ideal for vegetables, poultry and fish. The price of the product is quite reasonable. However, the durability of the product is yet to be experienced.

This product is good for cutting fish and removing head and tails. Also to cut pieces. It is durable and worth for money spent to buy it.

Have been using it for the last 6 months, found it durable and functioning.

With over just a month of gentle use, the handle which is made of plastic and moulded with steel body came out while cutting lemon grass, while it claims for cutting bones, fish scales etc.If you study the design, in one handle theend of blade protudes back till the end of hinges with tip coming out for use as screw opener but in other handle it prematurely ends at the start of junction of the handle. If you are aware about pressure/force from mechanical perspective in two opposite direction while operating, the force would concentrate at junction where there is a mold/joint, and it would splinter off the plastic mould as it not up to the end of body/till hind in one of the handle. Overall Faulty Design.Very much dissatisfied with this purchase. Waste of money. Better to go for steel/iron body scissors.
