Fun little gadget! Make sure ya have two AAA batteries for remote
Rarely do I write a review do soon after getting an item, but ordered it spur of the moment for a camping trip, so had to function test it before departing. Setup: Wally World ONN Android TV box directly into projector's HDMI port. Anker bluetooth speaker. Internet via wifi on home network. All very easy. Projector interface: Appears to be a stripped down Android version. I only used it for set-up. Did not use native apps for viewing anything. Used a previously configured ONN box. Was simple enough to set time, connect bluetooth, connect wifi, and switch source to HDMI. Physical set up: Base has a standard looking tripod connection. Projector rotates on it's support. It worked well enough. The adjustment pivot feels plasticy as ya change the angle. Long term, with frequent adjustments, I'd wonder if friction could wear it down to where the detentes don't hold. The projector needs to be rotated a minimum of 30-45 degrees to attach power cable and HDMI cables. Only problem I could foresee with that is if wanting to project straight up for some reason with an adjustable tripod. Remote: Here's my only true gripe. It came without the two AAA it needs. Maaan, if I'd have unpackaged this thing and discovered the remote wasn't loaded, I'd have been miffed. YOU WILL NEED TWO AAA BATTERIES. That said, slim, cheap feeling remote worked just fine. The lack of batteries may merit listing in product listing's title. Audio: Native audio was audio enough for early AM testing in quiet house. Via bluetooth speaker, audio was much better and likely ideal. Not sure how well native audio would do for say family movie night or for an evening outdoor get together, but chilling at the house, it'll work. Video: Off loading app handling to an HDMI video stick/box seems to be the way to go. Other reviews mentioned it. I didn't even play around with the native apps. My ONN box worked great. Picture seemed great, projected on wall of room, in pre-dawn light. Will follow up later with performance in brighter environments. Was happy with resolution and how sharp everything looked, while video played smoothly. So far so good. :) Great value for money so far. Glad I got it. Will follow up after I run it through its paces this weekend. Hope this review helps in your economical mini-projector purchase. Take care. :)

I'll save you your time on this product.
This thing promises a lot of things and falls flat on it's face. Where to start.......... If you add any apps to the homepage, they all disappear and everything reverts the second you unplug this thing. The speakers are horrendous, even mere feet away from your head. I sat about 2 feet away and you have to turn the volume to 100% to hear over the fan. The fan is really loud. After using this thing a handful of times, it already sounds like the speakers starting to blow. They promise 24/7 product support............good luck finding that anywhere. I looked and looked, no links for that, no website and no way to contact the seller. Amazon had to contact them on my behalf and they're based out of china so just to solve a simple issue, it's going to take you a couple days of back and forth minimum. There's also settings to upgrade the firmware but no where will you find a place to download new firmware, I looked. get with the times, update via wifi. Finally...........my biggest gripe.........the sound, or should I say the lack there of. You can download numerous apps such as disney plus and netflix but ultimately, they're basically worthless unless all you watch is old programming. As you can see in the picture, this thing doesn't support any modern sound formats which is mind boggling to me. I know the picture just says they're disabled but when you try to activate them, it tells you they're not supported. Not even sure why they even allow these to be enabled because it does nothing, I've tried. Instead of the show playing sound in whatever downgraded format that it can, it just doesn't play sound at all. Bluey - no sound Frozen - no sound avengers - no sound almost anything from the 90's will play sound unless it's a remastered version of the film though. With that said, the stand alone operating system is worthless to most people. In order to get any use out of this thing, you'll have to use a firestick or a roku plus external speakers. The quality of the video isn't 4k though, it's only 720. You MIGHT be able to get 1080 out of it via firestick or roku though I can't confirm. I'm returning it and I'd advise you to buy a different product as well.

Movie nights are so much better now!
I honestly wasn’t expecting this much quality from such a compact device! This mini projector completely blew me away! From unboxing to setup, it was smooth sailing, super easy to connect thanks to the Dual Band WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. I was streaming movies in minutes! The picture is crisp and vibrant (yes, even in a not-so-dark room) and it supports 4K and 1080p like a champ. The 200 ANSI lumens make the visuals really pop. I used it to project on my bedroom ceiling (thanks to the 180° rotatable design), and it legit felt like my own private cinema. 😍 The auto keystone correction is a total game changer! it adjusted everything perfectly without me having to fiddle with any settings. Plus, with Android 11 built-in, I could download apps directly and skip the extra cords. Whether you’re watching Netflix, gaming, or even doing a presentation, this projector delivers. The 35” to 130” screen size makes it super versatile too. I’ve used it for cozy solo nights and for backyard movie hangouts with friends. If you’re on the fence, just get it. It’s compact, powerful, and makes every viewing feel like an event. 10/10 recommend!

Great picture, bad accessibility
The picture quality for the price is exceptional. I mean crystal clear and covered our entire wall which is around 12 feet wide with clear results. But the accessibility and quality of the apps that you download is terrible. We hooked my son's Xbox up to it and it projects with better image and bigger picture than our RCA projector. If you are connecting something to the projector through HDMI, its a great product but if you are planning on using this with the system provided, its terrible. I almost sent it back because the function is so bad but decided to give the Xbox a try and it worked great for it. The sound is also not great so I would recommend connecting to a Bluetooth speaker or some other kind of listening device. But I gave it 4 stars because the image is so good and you can also go into the settings and adjust the size to bigger or smaller depending on the size you need

Great Little Projector for Movie Nights and More!
I bought this mini projector to use for family movie nights, and I’m honestly impressed with what it delivers for such an affordable price. The setup was very easy—just plug it in, connect to WiFi, and it was ready to go. It works with my phone and laptop with no problems. The image is surprisingly clear for the size, and the projector supports 1080P, which is great for watching movies or even presentations. I tested it in a slightly dark room and the brightness was perfect. I haven’t tested it during the day, but at night or in low light, it looks amazing. The sound is decent for a small projector, but I connected my Bluetooth speaker for better audio and it worked smoothly. It’s lightweight and easy to move around, so I can take it anywhere in the house or even outside for backyard movies. If you’re looking for a compact, easy-to-use projector with good image quality and dual-band WiFi, I totally recommend this one.

Great Hardware, Fatal Flaw: YouTube App is DEAD, Requires Streaming Stick
I have mixed feelings about this mini projector. For the price point, the video quality is surprisingly good, supporting 1080P natively, and the colors pop when viewing content. The portability is fantastic, and features like the 180° rotatable hinge and Auto Keystone Correction make setup incredibly fast and easy—I could project onto my ceiling or a wall in seconds, which is a huge plus. The inclusion of Dual Band WIFI and Bluetooth suggests solid modern connectivity. However, the main reason I am leaving a three-star review (instead of the four or five stars the hardware deserves) is the completely unsupported YouTube app on the built-in Android system. This fact was not clearly mentioned in the product description, and the discovery was extremely disappointing. Since the YouTube app is essentially non-functional or no longer supported, the built-in smart functionality is severely hobbled. I was forced to use a streaming stick (like a Fire Stick or Roku) to access YouTube and reliably stream most of my video content, which defeats the purpose of buying a projector with a built-in OS and adds extra cost and complexity. Verdict: If you are buying this already planning to use a dedicated streaming stick for your content, this is a fantastic, budget-friendly portable projector with excellent picture quality and superior setup features. If you are buying it specifically for the convenience of its built-in Android apps, be warned: the most essential video app is broken.

Amazing with added devices to amplify experience
Apps that come on device are laggy and don't connect to Internet well and doing quality from device is awful, BUUUUUT If you connect a firestick and a Bluetooth speaker (under the firestick not to device) the apps work AMAZING and sound is much better. Pros of device: Very good and clear picture quality. Bright and looks great on a white ceiling. Super easy, just plug in and power on Simply hook in firestick to HDMI slot When in, Click HDMI tab with device remote to get to firestick app, Use any and all apps as usual with firestick remote😍 I used an ANKER Souncore 2 Bluetooth speaker and it's like using a mini, but powerful, soundbar. This device was given 4 stars for poor app and sound quality, which could be amplified to amazing quality with added devices.

Read before buying
Don’t buy! This is an e-waste that is it! I had TWO issue and they are enough to ignore this product 1. Out of the box, it’s a hassle to set this up (and trust me I am a technically sound diy guy) 2. And even after that is done it’s still not worth the effort, money and environmental harm 🤣(don’t laugh) Honestly do not buy otherwise I’ll come to whisper in your ears “I TOLD YA” You are welcome
