Case Logic 17-Inch Security Friendly Laptop Roller (ZLRS-217)

After my last business trip to Europe with a shoulder bag for my laptop I vowed never to repeat the experience - it's just too much weight to carry around for hours and yet at the same time it wasn't enough room to accommodate an overnight stay. Features: The front pouch, secured with a very chunky zipper, is great for smaller things to which you might need ready access - boarding passes, maps, etc. Behind that is a very useful, multi-compartment area that accommodates passports, memory sticks, USB cables and the like. Just above this is a small pouch with wide zippered opening that I find holds a laptop power brick and cables just fine. Moving further back, the next compartment is the primary laptop storage area. There's the padded laptop sleeve, intended to make easy removal for security screening simpler, a dedicated tablet pouch that holds an iPad very securely, and an expanding document portfolio area that helps organize papers and the like. Finally you come to the overnight part of the case, just big enough for a couple of shirts , underwear and the bare minimum of toiletries. The handle extends far enough for me to feel comfortable pulling the bag (I'm 6'4"), and the wheels roll easily over everything I've tried so far. Size is absolutely perfect for overheads, where you'll typically be one of the smaller bags - there's no trouble at all finding space. Construction: Much better quality throughout than I was expecting. Materials, zips, stitching - all very well done and to a high standard. There's a feeling of quality throughout. In Use: Perfect - exactly what I needed. I carry laptop, Kindle, iPad, cameras and other stuff with ease and absolutely none of the shoulder ache I had before!

I fly every week for work and wanted a hybrid carry on that could hold some changes of clothes, work files and electronics. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!!! About 60% of the bags space is perfect for work things (files, cords, electronics, small items) and has pockets to stay organized. The other 40% can hold 2 pairs of clothes but probably not a coat or shoes. This bag would have been 5 stars due to design, functionality and seaminly quality construction except for the handle. The handle extends with three telescopci shafts and one of the three on one side of the handle doesn't always open easily and catches on something. The handle is a bit flimsy also. I wish they just spent a little more effort on the handle because this bag would be PERFECT for me. Also, the handle pulls out quite far as most have reviewed. I'm 6'1" so it works well, but I'd guess that someone under 5'6" may find it a little long for their usage. Hope this helps and thanks to everyone else who reviews on Amazon!!! Aloha UPDATE- I'm so bummed!!!! On my first trip, the extension handle broke right off!!! I'm going to return the item today and I'm torn on whether I'd re-order another one. As I said above, the bag is exactly what I was looking for except for the handle quality, which I'm wondering if I just received a bad apple???? I down graded the rating from 4 stars to 2 stars as the bag is basically useless to me without the extension handle.

I just purchased this roller bag for a trip to Hawaii. It fit both of my Ipads, DSLR camera, Nintendo DS and every cord, battery charger, etc in its easily accessible pockets. There are many access pockets that can hold your headphones and other things that you may need to get a hold of quickly. I also had snacks and other assorted things in it. It was much sturdier than a backpack and doesn't take up more room than my old 17 inch backpack that I used for a laptop and the Ipads. The wheels rolled perfectly and I didn't have any problems with the bag dragging the ground when rolling. It never fell over since the bag tilts slightly towards the handle side. The handle only telescopes to one height but it was sturdy. No problems with this case and would buy it again if this one wears out.

This product holds a ton of stuff. As others mentioned it has not worn well on the bottom, however I travel extensively for work and this holds a lot of stuff and gets abuse. So all in all, great bag for work travel and a 17 inch laptop. I love the removable sleeve it really expedites going through security when needed! I wish it hadn't worn so quickly.

The pockets and compartments are great; there is room for every item I need. BUT, first time I pulled it into the first airport, one of the wheels locked and I did not notice. Now, there is a large flat spot on one wheel. It sounds like an automatic rifle when I'm pulling it down an airport hallway. This is bad advertising for Case Logic and imbarressing for me. So, Can wheel be replaced? if not, can entire bag be replaced? Honestly, the case is great - except for the wheel that is just too noisy to use any more. Thanks, Bill

Dimensione giusta per una trasferta da 24h. Tante tasche e separazioni per disporre diversi oggetti. Ottima qualità del tessuto e delle farti mobili. Ruote Troppo piccole

Voila un bagage à main très malin: de nombreuses poches et un espace de rangement correcte pour quelques objets volumineux. De plus le compartiment et la housse de protection pour PC est Super. Valise solide ( nous l'avons traîner 3 semaines entres avions et hôtels cet été... et elle est nickel!!! et ses dimensions sont passe partout selon les compagnies: c'était notre souhait...

Le trolley ne sent pas la solidité et c'est le gros point noir du bagage. Si non, le produit est de bonne qualité pour 95 euros. Les PC de 17.3 pouces rentrent sans soucis.

Capiente e ben organizzata ha una nicchia, ripostiglio, tasca, per tutti i gadgets, cavetti e caricatori che mi porto in giro lasciando spazio per quei quattro capi di emergenza e quei 10 fogli che ostinatamente continuano a rimanere sulla scrivania. Rientra nelle misure di cabina delle maggiori compagnie aeree, ed essendo una verticale non devo sollevarla per i corridoi degli arei. Riassumendo: +vo Dimensioni ed organizzazione interna calzano a pennello per l'uso che ne faccio io. Materiali e cerniere sembrano di ottima qualita' Rulla silenziosamente senza apporre resistenza -vo Manca la serratura, ma non solo.... non c'e' proprio modo di mettere un lucchetto, neppure il cavetto di acciaio, NULLA! se non fosse stato per questo avrei certamente dato un 5stelle, peccato
