Daily Tote with Shoulder Length Handles and Outside Pocket

I bought 10 of these for small christmas gifts to my fellow night shift nurses. We all bring in our food, drinks, change of scrubs,a goody bag filled with "you never know when you might need it"stuff, and of course our personal tools like stethoscopes and books.We do not have access to the ammenities day shift nurses do when everything is open, like a cafeteria, and locker space is limited. I noticed we all were using 2 sometimes 3 "reusable" regular size shopping bags for our nightly hauls.I got each one a different color and bought iron on letters and put their initials on the front pocket. What a hit!They have even asked where they can get more!They are VERY durable.They are a stiff almost boat type canvas.They wash in washing machine excellent. No wear down or seams coming loose. They are big enough to haul a 2 liter, your tupperware, etc. but small enough that when full you can still sling it over your shoulder. I have since used this bag almost anytime my family and I know we are going to be gone for the day. It holds all our stuff and we just throw it in the car. It does not have a zipper or way to close it. However I picked up self sticking velcro at my local superstore for $3 and placed a piece at both ends and one in the middle. Problem solved! The velcro tabs have even stayed on through all the washings!If you need a large tote for the kids ballet stuff, etc. Get these! Why pay $12 or more?!

I bought 10 of these bags in 2007 and they've held up to weekly grocery shopping, along with lugging stuff to work/school/picnics/etc, and being washed at least once a month, and they're still totally usable! I'm ordering more because mine have seen better days. They look kind of dingy/dirty even when they're clean (I originally had the white/red bags), and they have some sort of latex type lining on the inside bottom that is wearing thin in patches, so I think it's time for new bags. We DEFINITELY got our money's worth with these bags ~ 6 years! I'll still use them as a back up when I have the big grocery trips for holidays, parties, etc, and need extra bags. They're the perfect simple basic bag for groceries, I like that they aren't humongous because I don't like my bags to get too heavy. Durable, washable, lovely!

I'll admot, I got this simply because the price was so inexpensive, and I didn't want to invest in a large bag if it wasn't going to work for my needs. I'm a wallet only girl, but new job required me to bring lunch, a drinking cup, and some paperwork with me daily. That was in the fall, and not only do I still use this daily, but I have no need to "trade up" as this is holding up well, holds everything (and then some) that I need, and shows little wear. Well worth the short money.

The bag was quite stiff, I could see the inner lining starting to chip probably within a week or so of use. The smell was unpleasant, but I believe it is some kind of polyurethane coating to make it water resistant. And now that I have returned it it doesn't seem to have any type of record on my account. Glad I have the UPS receipt to prove that I returned it as soon as I got it from the post office.Gave it one star because it was the color that it said it would be.I wound up purchasing another bag for a few dollars more and I am ecstatic over the new one. Well worth the couple of dollars extra.

Bags seem fine overall. I got the solid navy ones and they have an almost plastic feel-not canvas. I have had a hard time with iron on vinyl and the material. Make sure the iron is on low...

This bag is just the right size for just about anything. It isn't small, but it isn't gigantic like some grocery bags. It will fit a lot of groceries, or a dozen books and other things easily. The fabric feels like canvas, and it looks lovely. The stitching is top notch. For the price this bag is a complete winner--nice looking, holds a lot, and can be used for multiple needs. I plan on buying another one. I got the blue on white for a gift, and it was a vivid, beautiful color.

Arrived with reaped pocket - returned right away and got my money back. Good customer service.
