The grip made sure that I was holding it correctly, which is needed, as I don't have good grip habits formed yet, and so I would recommend this club to other beginner golfers. On the other hand, there's a reason most clubs don't have grips like this, as it's slightly uncomfortable and annoying, which is a small price to pay for now, but I look forward to when this grip is no longer needed to teach me and I can replace it.
