Good buy
Arrived late as Hermes delivery driver was on holiday - not really up to Amazons standards of quick delivery but I got them in the end. They are as described warm, fit well and comfortable to walk in over the fields etc. will see how they wear over the winter and update my review

Great boots perfect for those muddy walks and rainy days
These are warm and comfortable and great for long walks with the dog and standing in a cold wet field watching my son play rugby. Easy on and off and can be worn with thick or thin socks depending on the weather. Maybe a little too warm for summer walks but then it's not so muddy so not needed.

Good all-round boots.
I bought these to replace an identical pair that got torn on some wire. They have a nice rugged sole, and a fleece lining that should last a year at least. The toggle-tops help to keep out water, and the boots feel very comfortable to wear for long periods. I walk my dog in these boots for 35+ miles a week, in all weather conditions, and have no complaints. However, llike any rubber boots, they are easily punctured by thorns, brambles, wire, or sharp foreign objects. Once that happens, they let in water to the affected boot, making it uncomfortable to wear them. But this also happened to Neoprene boots that cost me £100+, so these Dunlops are a great-value alternative, especially as the excellent sole makes them so nice to wear for long periods. The moral of the story is that you do not need to pay £100+ for a good dog-walking boot used in the countryside. These are good enough, and more comfortable than most.
