Got these to mount struts on my vehicle hood.These allow many different positions so you can get the struts just right.My car has a prop rod, but with these and the struts I got, will allow me to open the hood and not need the prop rod.I actually tested the struts and these by opening the hood and positioned the car so the wind was blowing on the top of the hood and these, with the struts, kept the hood open with no problems.

I'm adding gas shocks to the Frunk on my Porsche 914 and these brackets are just what I needed. They will make it easy to fasten the shock to the inner fender sidewall and the large attaching plate means I won't need to reinforce the fender sheet metal to do it. I also like that the parts are powder coated black instead of the typical zinc plating as this matches the rest of the brackets and hinges on the car.
