Ergo-Drive Ergonomic Lumbar Support Seat Cushion with Memory Foam & Cooling Gel

I am a full-time delivery driver and the seats in those trucks are atrocious - by the end of the day I am stretching in every possible position to relieve my lower back pain. This particular lumbar support was recommended by another driver, and I've used it every day for the last week and my back no longer hurts, I am SO grateful for it!

I bought one of these a year ago for long trips in the car, and later brought it in to use in my very uncomfortable desk chair. It keeps my hips from aching, and my bum from falling asleep! Hubs started stealing mine for his 90-minute commute to work, so I ordered one from Amazon for him. He no longer complains of aches, pains and stiffness when he gets home.The gel cushion is cool and comfortable, and it's held up well with constant use. The cover is smooth and surprisingly doesn't get at all hot, even after sitting in the sun. The only thing to watch out for: If yours comes with the packaging attached with those annoying little plastic fasteners that they use for clothing price tags, snip 'em off with scissors VERY carefully - don't yank 'em out. I did that with mine, and it made two holes in the cover. The holes haven't gotten any bigger over time, but it was irritating just the same.

Kept falling over when I got out of my car. Most of the other lumbar cushions with included straps have way too much cushion. You may think you want this much support but that is going to put pressure on your spine making it more difficult to breathe/digest and causing back issues later.To get around not having straps, I ordered bed sheet straps. I wrap a folded towel around the cushion and then attach the clips of the strap to each end of the towel on the backside of the chair. I then use a 2nd strap that I have wrapped around the top headpiece of the chair and clipped to itself on one end then clipped to the first strap on the other end.Ridiculous that I even have to do this but I haven't seen this lumbar cushion with the right amount of depth with straps built-in to the cushion.

I have tried so many back and lumbar cushions. This is the best I have come across. Their seat cushion and back cushion. Saves me!

This product works well in a chair, or vehicle, and we do both! Glad to be able to purchase on Amazonas bought one a O'Reilly Auto Parts, and they discontinued carrying them.

Gets flat the minute you sit on it.

Purchased for my daughter to use in her Honda HRV. (Seats are hard and caused her back pain on long drives)She is small--approx. 110 lbs. so the size of the cushion and its thickness suited her very well. She likes the gel feature and says it helps to make driving much more comfortable.I warned her to watch out for the gel degrading over time in a hot car as a another reviewer said the cushion spoiled some of her slacks. Overall--happy with this choice!

I am prone to sciatica and have scoliosis (achy back) to boot. I must have about 15 different cushions, all acquired in the effort to keep my back happy. This is the one that really helps.From driving too long, too far, and too often, my son (who is young and strong) also got sciatica and it just wouldn't heal for months and months. Then I got him one of these. All better!
