Review: Solid Desk, Easy to Assemble - I was skeptical about engineered wood furniture and the sturdiness of it, but have been pleased with the quality. Still not as nice as solid wood but the price is decent for this piece, and looks better than the folding table I was using :) Shipping packaging is very good, even with some damage to the outside box, no major damage to product. There are some small scuffs but not worth returning. Easy to assemble, just don’t over tighten the cams. I also purchased the matching accent storage cabinet and file cabinet. Same results- all sturdy items.

I was skeptical about engineered wood furniture and the sturdiness of it, but have been pleased with the quality. Still not as nice as solid wood but the price is decent for this piece, and looks better than the folding table I was using :) Shipping packaging is very good, even with some damage to the outside box, no major damage to product. There are some small scuffs but not worth returning. Easy to assemble, just don’t over tighten the cams. I also purchased the matching accent storage cabinet and file cabinet. Same results- all sturdy items.

Received the desk earlier in the day which was a nice surprise. My friend came to help put together. It took her and I about 3 hours - but a lot of that time was spent laughing at each other. I couldn't be happier with the color. It is a muted black almost a weathered look and I love it. It actually smells amazing too! One thing - as we got to the last piece which fits over the cabinet, we saw the piece did NOT have the pre-drilled holes! What a bummer that was to have gotten almost finished and then couldn't complete it. I called there customer service which would have been 7:10 EST. Even though the pamphlet said they were open until 7:30 pm, they were not. I called at 5 a.m. the next morning and they placed an order for the replacement part. Now, I just found out it is going to take 3-5 days to get the item, then FEDEX will take another 3-5 days to get it to me. So for now, I have "half" a desk. Still worth the money and I am very happy. I gave it 4 stars because of the amount of time I have to wait. But I would recommend this to everyone. (I got spoiled with Amazon overnight delivery I guess - and now expect it from everyone! HA)
