Electric Bike for Adults 26" x2.35 Electric Mountain Bike with 500W Motor, Ebkie with 36V 15AH Removable Battery Bicycle, Long Range 21-55mile with 7 Gears E Bike

My Hitway BK8M was delivered on time and in good condition. Was fairly easy to put together aside from the directions not being that good. I found a YouTube video for installation which was way more helpful than the directions sent with the bike. It’s sturdy and seems well build to me. The fenders are a little flimsy but that’s not a major issue for the overall function of the bike. They do their job. The tires are not made from normal bike tire material. Time will tell if they last or not. They seem good enough for what I want it for. The bike is heavy but you can already expect that by reading the product description. The instrument display it not fancy but works well. You can see your power level, speed, and odometer. I am a big guy. 6ft 235lbs. I think the bike fits me pretty okay. It could be slightly bigger however I was pretty comfortable using it.I have taken it on one ride with total of 14 miles. The ride consisted of city streets, a paved greenway trail, both with a few hills. I purposely didn’t pedal a lot because I wanted to see how quickly the battery would drain. I lost only one bar of battery for the whole ride. I consider that pretty good. The power of the motor seemed to be good. I actually got up to 21 mph according the the speedometer. Starting off from a complete stop and going uphill was a little challenging and I had to pedal but I think that may be normal and I don’t believe that to be a problem. The assist kicked in which made the hills a breeze. The sprockets are made from a hard plastic. They seem sturdy and made from a tough material but I’m left wondering why the company would skimp on something so important to the bikes function. You can see the red plastic sprocket in the picture I’ve included with my review. The black one above it is also plastic. This is not causing a problem with the bike, it’s just my own personal concern which may be wrong.The breaks needed to be adjusted as both the front and back breaks were rubbing. I know very little about bikes so this was a challenge for me. Again, found a YouTube video that helped me to figure it out. Breaks are adjusted and working but seem a little loud. I assume once they have a little wear on them, the sound may get better.Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase. If you are an intense bike enthusiast, this probably isn’t for you but for me, to get back and fourth for fun, it’s going to be great. It was a good buy for the price. I give it two thumbs up.

UPDATE: I’ve now had my bike for a few weeks and one complaint I have is the speedometer- it doesn’t accurately reflect the distance travelled. Once pedal assist is turned on, it will only capture miles/km travelled at the top speed in that mode. So if I pedal and go faster than the assisted speed, mileage doesn’t get counted.First time riding an ebike and I love it. Fairly easy to assemble. Brakes squeal a bit but customer service from the company has been, so far, amazing. It is easy to ride and I love the throttle assist when starting off. I wish it had a few more riding gears so that I could slow down on pedals when in pedal assist mode (which is why I only gave it 4 stars). Ridden over 35 miles and still have 3 bars of battery life left.

The bike was well packaged, well built and easy to put together. Very smooth on rough roads, and the battery seemed to last very long if using only to assist (~16 miles first ride with constant power assist but power bar indicator still showed full). The bike is heavy. I thought I purchased an aluminum frame as advertised but got steel frame instead.

This is a great bike, easy to put together but my box was very damaged along with scratches on the bike (from shipping) and I also didn’t receive a charger. How am I supposed to CHARGE my ELECTRIC bike with a CHARGER😡 NOW I GOTTA PAY $45 JUST SO I CAN ENJOY MY BIKE 0/10 dude to no charger if I had one I’d give it a 7.6/10

I ordered this electric bike having never ridden an e-bike before. I was a little nervous ordering one online, but I am so pleased with my purchase. It came well packaged and went together easily. The directions were not the best, but my husband didn't have any trouble. The height is a little on the taller side for me (I'm 5'5"). I can only touch my tippy toes to the ground with the seat post all the way down. It rides really nice, and the pedal assist is amazing! The battery life is surprisingly good. We have done several rides around the 20 mile mark and still have plenty of battery left. Hills are a snap with the assist and I really like having a throttle, especially to get started. I am super happy with this e-Bike and highly recommend!

**UPDATE* Rear tire went flat for no apparent reason. Used 4 times 20 miles. So now I have to bring to a bike shop to get repaired. NOT HAPPY! Great E-Bike for the price. The bike came packaged very well no damage. There is minimal assembly, but the instructions are a little vague. Have taken them out for two rides so far over 10 miles and the battery is still fully charged. This is my first E-Bike and did not want to spend a whole lot of money to decide if I like them. So far these bikes are great! Would definitely recommend.

Good deal for the price and works well. I had some minor issues and they were able to respond and refund the repair quickly! Did an 18 mile ride using pedal assist and throttle and the battery still almost full capacity! Definitely a good deal and great to work with!

I received the bike on June 14th and 3 of my back wheel spokes have broken. Ride mainly a smooth bike trail but other than that nice bike for the price

love bicycling, but the regular bike started to hurt my knees.The neighbours have shown me an e-bike and I have decided to buy it.As they are reasonably priced,I did a lot of Internet research. And I found this bike with a reasonable price and very good reviews. very impressed with the packaging. very fast delivery. easy to put together it took me 15 min to assemble the bike without reading the manual. It comes with all the tools needed to put it together. very good quality and futuristic look. powerful. The range is amazing 88 KM but I need to test the distance to range during winter vs summer. My only regret is not buying this bike at the beginning of the summer.

Order delivered in less then a week during Holidays. Great price offer during the Holidays that made me want to test it. It was shipped from Ontario. Some assembly needed but I managed to do it in less then 30 minutes. Go watch the Hit-way assembly video on YouTube. Battery had 75% charge out of the box. Since weather isn’t presently too cold and no snow, I did a test drive. Easy to operate. Riding position is between a city bike and Dutch one. So sitting pretty straight on the bike seat. I’m pleasantly surprised by overall feature, power and quality of this BK-8 electric bike. It is a big bike so may not be good for smaller people. Seems like a good purchase. 100% electric mode is powerful and quick. I will know with time how it stands up to regular usage. It is a heavy bike. Don’t expect to put it on the roof of car to go to cycling path by car. I’m expecting it to hold on well. Looking forward to spring to ride it. I will use it to commute to work and to take some fresh air.

The media could not be loaded.  I've been in trouble ever since I bought this bike. I almost crushed two times. The first one because of the brakes, it’s just stopped working suddenly. The second one because the spokes on the rare wheel are broken.The wheel burst on the second day I bought it. The brakes are gone as well. The spokes are broken. When I went to the bike repair store the guy told me those brakes are poor quality, he can adjust them but they can stop working anytime so I changed them. Company made me refund for the tire I changed but I don’t want to risk my life anymore.I explained everything to amazon but they absolutely refuse to take returns (it was 45th day since I bought this bike while talk to amazon).I didn’t expect super e bike for 1000$ but at least I wanted to ride the bike safely.I definitely don’t recommend it. Very poor quality.And do not buy e bikes from Amazon! Buy it through the brand’s website.Shame on you Amazon!

We held off writing a review so we could get a lot of riding in before judging the bike’s value and efficiency. We are pleasantly surprised.It’s easy to use, and the battery ASSIST is perfect. All 3 speeds make riding much more fun and less fatiguing. Lights are bright, and having a brake light is a bonus. Battery life seems very good. The best part…….It’s HALF the price of most local bike shops products and feels as good as everything we tested before buying. Very happy with the purchase..
