I purchased a slightly different variant of this model, which has been in use at a nail salon for some weeks now, and this one is a Vine Review item that I've been using in an office. They are essentially the same product, which is nice because I've been able to use them in 2 different work environments.In the nail salon, this has really helped in pretty much all sit-down tasks. The arch is the perfect size for the average cosmetologist station. The customers and worker have had no issue with it being in the way, and the light helps so much when working on detailed artwork as well as just everyday nail tech tasks. In the office I use this to help take a bit cleaner photos during specific workflows. This helps me to get more even lighting and reduce/remove hard shadows when I am unable to otherwise control the ambient lighting. It's incredibly convenient.There are a couple things I don't like about this model. The first is that the phone holder is not very trustworthy. I don't feel like it is secure enough for it to hold a phone above a customer's face. I just don't trust that it will not fall. The other thing is the remote feels pretty cheap. It's fine and works, but it just is flimsy. I mean, you can see through the button cutouts into the internals, and the plastic does not feel strong in any way. I don't think this is too big of a problem though because I don't think the remote is necessary. There are other controls that are in-line in the power cable, so I think those are fine enough, and they work well.Another very good thing to note is the lighting options. You can cycle between warm and cold lighting, as well as the intensity of each. It remembers your last setting too, so once you set it the way you like, you can just turn it on and off and it will always be at that setting unless you change it. One more large positive is that this light intensity has a wide range. I mean, it can get very dim if you want that, and it can get VERY BRIGHT if you want that. The brightness is kind of surprising and this flexibility can be super useful.So I really like this light, and it is useful in more ways than one.

I ordered this for my mom because she's been wanting an upgrade for her desk lamps. She has a large enough space similar to a PC desk, which she uses for sewing and for her manicures as well. First off, let me tell you that when you put this together it's larger than expected! You're definitely going to need a large enough desk or table space to properly use this. I assume that this is made specifically for commercial use but it can be used at home as well with no problem.Everything came packaged properly and organized. The reason I'm mentioning about the packaging is because I can definitely see people using the box to store the lamp permanently when not in use. So I personally wouldn't throw it away.The lamp does have an all plastic frame but it was still sturdy enough to hold its own weight on the desk. The LED lighting works exactly as described. There's different options to increase the brightness level. I used this myself to work on some of my model kids and when I'm repairing my gaming controllers just because it lights up the area above you. I can honestly say that this has a lot of flexibility to it.

Needed an overhead light to brightly light up my small work space. This works great. It has brightness settings that allow you to customize it as you work. It was very easy to assemble, basically pop the feet on, unfold and plug in. It is nice that it comes with a phone holder so you can take quick easy overhead pictures.

My husband has "borrowed" this light for painting his models. The light is even and bright and doesn't create shadows. The switch is easy to use to change the color temperature and brightness

The nail shop uses similar light fixtures for nail polish. It is bright enough to see the nails problems. I do not know how long it will last. It is nice and clean. The only issue is the price.

I did not set it up in the rom for the demonstration as I'm eventually planning this as a gift and didn't want to disturb it too much. I made one mistake in the video: it is operated by a remote as I demonstrated, but there is also similar controls on the power cord. However, I still don't like this quite as well as other moon lights I have reviewed as you have to grasp for the cord whereas other lights have the controls on the light itself smoothly integrated.This light does offer some features the others I reviewed don't, however. It is adjustable so that you can change the width. The Amazon page shows it being used to do eyelash work, and for that you'd need a different width and height than for nail work. If you need this capability, this very well may be the light for you! It also has a mount for your cell phone on top as did one other light I reviewed. This is great for taking pictures of your work or just viewing your work through your camera - a very nice feature.The mount on this light has supports at both ends which provides a stable base. All in all, I like this light a lot and it is at a cost-effective price. If you need adjustablity, I'd give this 5 stars. If not, maybe 4 stars because of the lack of light controls integration on the lamp itself. Good job!
