The Book Seat - Book Holder - Reading Aid - Turquoise

So far this is great for reading... this could be an amazing tool for preventing eye sight from diminishing early especially as screens are quite bad for our eyes also.Could be a little heavier though but not sure if that matters?

this bookseat is not only a lovely colour but sits well while reading in bed it moulds to your legs and with the added clear plastic adjustable strip that holds your book pages in place it certainly deserves 5 stars.I have also bought different colours for 5 other members of my family and they all think it is a great product.

I use this everyday and it holds the books beautifully. Very easy to turn pages etc. But, for me, when I sit, it tends to lean backwards which I find very annoying. I have to put something under it to keep it from leaning backwards.. doesn't matter what size book because when you're sitting down, your knees automatically lean, don't they? I contacted the manufacturer and she said just to hang onto the book and the book holder together and shake it; well, that's true to a point, but it still tends to lean. Wish I had gotten the more pliable bean bag (I think). But the page holder on this is brilliant. I think what I'll do is glue a piece of foam under it or something like that. It also has a lovely place in the back to hold your phone.

The Book Seat has been designed to assist those people who, for what ever reason, have difficultly holding books open while reading. I have found it to be helpful and easy to use. The concept is clever and the device has been well designed. It holds both paperback and hardback books without requiring hands to hold the pages open while reading. (It is necessary to use hands to turn the pages of a book.)One possible improvement would be to include an option for a more rigid base to hold the book seat upright on a flat surface.

Bought for my mum who is unable to hold a book. She dislikes it so sent back. Says it was too small and would hold a hard back book. I personally thought it was expensive for what it was.

This is a surprisingly useful but of kit. I bought it to keep crochet pattern books open easily, which it does very well, but I've also found it useful for supporting my iPad and kindle. Although both have their own stand cases these don't work so well on uneven surfaces like in bed whereas this works really well. I think it's a touch overpriced for what it is but nevertheless I'm really pleased with it. I have the turquoise one and it's exactly the same colour as in the photo.

Love reading in bed but find hardback books and tablets heavy after a while and arms start to ache. This is a brilliant solution. Keeps the tablet/book in place and pages stay in place. Comfortable propped up against knees. Would recommend!

Bought it for my daughter who has just had a baby. She can read while holding her baby now!

Je l'utilise tous les soirs dans mon lit, c'est un repose-livre parfait pour ma Kindle ou mes livres papier, je recommande !

Para libros electrónicos o físicos. En la cama en el sofá o en el coche, Super cómodo. Le pondría un poco más de relleno eso sí

Man hat beim Lesen die Arme frei und kann wunderbar mit dem Tablet arbeiten.Ich hatte eine große HWS - OP und konnte meine Arme nur begrenzt einsetzen. Dabei hat mit der Bookseat sehr geholfen.I ch habe ihn jetzt oft dabei, auch auf der Liegewiese ist er hilfreich. Ein leichtes, formschönes Hilfsmittel.Empfehlenswert - auch als Geschenk!

Es erleichtert das Lesen ungemein. Ich habe keine müden Arme mehr. Eine tolle Idee.

J'ai de gros problèmes d'arthrose aux mains. Je n'arrive plus à tenir un livre en main. Je suis une très grande lectrice. La journée dans le divan et le soir au lit. Ce coussin est génial! Pas besoin de tenir le livre, juste tourner la page qui est à nouveau maintenue! Il est ultra léger et pas encombrant. J'adore!
