Needed a replacement in my kitchen next to water heater as old one past its date Nice design and simple to set up its all automatic once u pull out the battery seal its up and running Ive just placed mine free standing as its a mobile type one Good price with good reviews and a ten year lifespan Comes with installed batteries updated 2/10/25 this product is not fit for purpose it burns thru batteries ive used several rechargable ones and new ones they are empty within a day waste of money Updated 15/10/25 ok i was wrong i discovered the rechargable batteries are no good in smoke alarms or carbon monoxide detectors and you should only use alkaline or lithium batteries so this what ive done

Happy with purchase, they look sleek, good price for 2, so can have one upstairs and one downstairs. Easy to install. Comes with screws if you’re attaching to a wall etc. Seem well made and not cheap. They are up and running so I feel safe!
