AbsoluteUSA RST-350 3-Inch Round Gold Push Spring Loaded Jacks Double Binding Post Speaker Box Terminal Cup

This was supposed to come 10 days after I bought it with free shipping, it arrived 3 days later, very fast. The terminal cut itself was a thicker plastic than I had expected witch was a nice surprise, the cutout was very easy, I just took a 1 7/8" forstner bit and drilled it out where I wanted, and just sanded a little bit until it fit nice and snuggly. The outside end had nice tight springs. The portion on the inside of the box was not quite as nice, but works fine, the tabs to put on a quick female disconnect were a little flimsy in my opinion. I tightened the cup to the box with some drywall screws and it will not crack the plastic so long as you do not overtighten. Overall, it took me 15 minutes to cut, mount, and wire the cup.

Everything on the front is good quality, but when you turn it over you become disappointed due to the output tabs. It's like they are made from aluminum foil with gold plating. I mean talk about flimsy tabs. Why put good parts on the front and janky tabs on back. 3 stars for front of product. Zero stars for the back side. I ordered some replacement tabs. I just can't use this as it sits now. Hopefully someone is making these and they are putting a top quality part together including the back tabs. I don't recommend unless your using on a speaker box, not a sub box.

This is very nicely made spring lock speaker terminal. Very similar to what is used in most of your name brand subs as factory equipment on the subwoofer.In my opinion, the spring lock style is much better than the screw down type.See picsI would highly recommend these.I built my own enclosure.I didn't use spade connectors. I soldered my wires to the terminal bars.

Purchased this because it looked like the flange was wide and I wanted a good seal. Took two weeks to arrive. Quality is lacking. Spring terminals feel cheap and are tough and noisy when compressed. Terminals also aren’t centered and one came angled inward so I had to correct that. I admit I’m a bit OCD but these are simple QC measures that were overlooked.

Nice quality plastic and the spring push speaker terminals are great - better still was the solid post & nuts on the inside...Will post an installed photo when I get a chance...

Bought this for my custom built sub box. Could not be happier. The plastic is of high quality and not flimsy at all. The connectors are also high quality as well. Still Working great after 5 months of hard hitting base

I don't like how all the other speaker terminal cups are excessively large. Allows a minimal cutout in your speaker box. And why would you want a larger cutout than is absolutely necessary? It's sized for a 2" cutout. Terminals appear to be good quality.

Good product, the terminal post seem a touch flimsy buy have held up now to 6 gauge wire for months.
