Arrives flat and fits nicely in front of my desk. My previous one was rolled up and as soon as I cut the package it ejected and nicked my arm and never really was flat

Some chair mats are flimsy and get indentions from the chair wheels - this one is firm and is holding up well

I gave this chair mat four stars out of optimism because it seems sturdier than the ones I've had before. If it turns out not to be durable, I'll revise the rating. I'm not really happy with this purchase because I made the mistake of buying one without a lip that's four inches narrower than the ones I've had before. It was a mistake. Four inches don't sound like much, but I'm finding the casters of my chair constantly rolling off the mat, which means the mat doesn't completely protect the rug. It's a pity they don't make a larger size because it does seem sturdy and it arrives flat, which was one of my requirements.

Perfect on low pile, office carpeting. So far no cracks or dents from use of office chair. Stays in place! Ships flat, so no need to hassle with unrolling a mat. Definitely deserving of 5 stars!

Exactly what I wanted

This a great, been using it for over a month now to make sure no problems. My chair rolls smooth and it protects the rug, I've had no issues and it's a good size for a desk.Great value for a mat like this, worthy to have instead of rolling on a carpet and that is not fun.

I can't get over how THICK this office chair mat is compared to literally ANY other I've ever seen! It will "float" over any style carpet for protection and easy-gliding of your office chair even if it has the older-style plastic casters (as opposed to the newer-style inline skate wheels some offer)!It comes packed flat, which is a great thing if you've ever had to unroll a chair mat and have to wait days and days for it to uncurl! I've even had to lay a couple out in the sun to speed that process up!It has smooth chamfered edges so if you do go further than the generous size offers you it's a breeze to get the chair back on the matt without getting out of the chair in most cases.It's optic-clear, almost "glass clear" and virtually "disappears" on your carpet but you'll know it's there when you sit down and have effortless movement when you need it!I am really impressed with this chair mat, I say give it a try for yourself! I always recommend making a template of the product you're considering with blue painter's tape in the area to ensure you get the right size for your needs before buying! Enjoy!
