What I got.
It's ok it definitely defines your curls and I've been on the search for a product that not only defines my curls but also remain soft after they dry but unfortunately this isn't it they not only get hard after they dry but they look extremely dry so I guess my search continues. But I do love all they other products for repairing my hair after being damaged.

Helps with frizz, use with mousse or gel
For starters I think this cream smells incredible. I noticed it right out of the box, it is pretty strong so it's probably hit or miss but for me it was a massive hit. Now, as far as performance goes it does help with frizz a lot. My hair is wavy and prone to turning into a fluffy triangle, so I'm happy to take any help I can get. It also made my hair so soft! That said, the first time I used it I decided to try it on its own and unsurprisingly it has basically no hold, so while right after your curls dry they look pretty in my case at least they deteriorate pretty quickly as well. However, after playing around and using this with my favorite mousse it definitely helps with keeping my waves looking moisturized and frizz free while the second product keeps them in shape for much longer. I think this is a solid product to add to any curl routine, but I have a hard time believing the before and after photos they listed.

Uh-mazing curl refresher
I decided to first use this on my day 4 curls. I have 2c curls, which are on the fine side and frizz prone. I was going to wash my hair because the curls were getting frizzy and unruly, but I decided to test this out for a curl refresh first. I’m definitely not washing my hair now, because the curls look amazing. I’ll tell you exactly what I did. I first used a continuous spray bottle to thoroughly wet my curls to about 50% wet. I then took a pump of the product, emulsified it in wet hands, and applied it using a praying hands technique to each third of my hair. I made sure to smooth it through the front, back and middle of each section, to make sure it was nicely distributed. I then scrunched my curls a bit and left them alone. This whole process took less than 5 minutes. It took about an hour or so to dry, as my hair takes a long time to dry. At first, my hair looked almost overly hydrated and the curls were amplified but flat. There was zero cast and a lot of shine. I then scrunched them out anyway, as if there was a cast and I got not only fantastic volume, but also probably the best curl refresh I’ve seen in a very very long time. When I read the ingredient list, I was relieved to see that there are no silicones, but equally surprised to see that almost all the ingredients were some type of hair oil or other nourishing ingredient. If I would have just read the ingredients, I would have thought it was a hair mask or treatment. The fact that this formula was able to create such a gorgeous curl refresh is amazing. Also, I love that it comes in a nice size bottle. Lately, so many of these upscale curl products come in tiny bottles. I don’t feel like I need to be stingy with this. I don’t know how this will perform on wet hair out of the shower, but I’m loving this for a refresh!! Curly girls - give this a try!!

Like a leave-in conditioner for curly hair
We slather this curl cream on my teen’s soaking wet hair and it seriously helps reduce frizz once it dries, and adds shine to boot. We’ve also used it to re-scrunch her hair to tame her curls after wetting it with a spray bottle, we just use way less and keep it away from her roots. It smells great!

First impressions
My first impressions are I hate the smell of this product. But I love the texture. Not sure if it's a good or bad product yet. But will update if I can

Seems to work in my hair to hold some curl
I usually use another curl product combined with coconut oil for softness and hold, but this curl defining cream seemed to work well. I think I will stick with my original product but this was nice for a change.
