This coop refresher is easy to use. I sprinkle it as I’m changing bedding. It is mineral based so it’s excellent for moisture, odors and pests. The bag in generously sized and how long it lasts depends on the size of your coop. In my Omlet chicken coops, it’s a longer lasting bag. I would recommend.

I'm sure this product works well under certain environmental conditions, but I guess I'm expecting more. It has been very wet these past couple of years and it has been nearly an impossible task controlling the odor from the few chickens I have in consideration of my neighbors. I think I'm going to have to try another product. Maybe it doesn't exist.

As things heat up on the east coast, it's easy for our chicken coop to get a bit of an odor, even with regular cleanings. This powder helps to keep things controlled. It's not a super product, but does work well. Start with a small amount to cover things and go from there. It is easy to blow through a bag of this stuff. Clean up is simple, with shavings. When re applying, just sprinkle or mix it in to the new shavings and your done. Started to use some in our duck coop and have noticed a difference as well. Fly population has gone down, but cant say if that's 100% because of the powder or natural causes. The next few years will help figure that out. Will definitely look to purchase more of this each season, as long as it continues to perform as it does now.
