Charges as quickly as a wallbox unit, without your electricity supplier being able to monitor and control charging (they stop the charger if they deem it).Okay, I cant leverage the 8.5p/kw EV rate, but I have nighttime rate of 12p, so I just charge it after 21:00!Regular reports charging at 24miles/hour which is better than the public charging units in my village (16-18 miles).

I purchased the previous model which had an issue. Upon contacting the company directly they were both helpful and understanding to my needs. Their only concern was my customer satisfaction and they resolved the issue by sending me the new and improved product which works perfectly. The item was delivered the next day and I plugged it straight in and it worked without hassle.

This is a very durable charger which so far since I'm using it works as it should and I didn't experience any kind of issues with it. The good part about it is that it supports 7.4kw max output which means that I can charge my car significantly faster(from what I have noticed around three times faster than the previous charger that I had). Regarding the build quality, in my opinion it is very good and one of the most important aspects about it specifically for my use is the fact that it is water resistant and it can work even at low temperatures because I have to keep it outside and I don't have any cover on top so it might rain on it. The length of the cable for me is more than fine because there is a socket very close to where I park the car. I have noticed something which is worth mentioning, during the charging process the actual unit keeps a constant temperature which means that it doesn't warm up that much even though the power output is quite high and this is very important because on a long term most likely this charger will last.Another great thing about it is that when the battery of my car is full, this charger automatically stops and this means that it saves electricity. The experience that I have with this charger is great and I'm also happy with the fact that it comes in a carrying back which allows me to store it properly in my car.

The item worked very well unfortunately after a while it over heated and burnt my plug sockets and result caused a fire its lucky I noticed in time. I would advise using these on 8kw settings and not using 10 or 13 as this causes the plugs to get hot. When I used the 8kw settings the charger was fine :)
