1GB DDR-333 PC2700 Memory RAM Upgrade SODIMM for HP Pavilion dv1000 and dv4000

I needed to put extra memory into an 6-7 year old laptop that I needed to continue using and this product was both reasonably priced and functioned perfectly.

A lot of companies charge too much for quality memory. I bought this SODIMM stick and put it in the laptop and it perfectly met the need at a good price and great shipping bargain, you think? Product arrived on time. Item was well packed. Simple to install after taking apart the top end of the laptop. Have to be careful here because the plastic cover around the hinges is the only "tough"part on these Compaq R4000's.

Installed the memory in a 2006 hp dv1000 laptop and it works better than ever before..would surely recommend as a great buy!! Arrived before date also..very fast receiving.

Horrible. I should have returned but I didn't pay much so I didn't go through the trouble. Mismatch memory. It was not DDR-333. Does not fit.

I had some issues getting the right RAM to upgrade my older laptop. The seller sent me out what was listed as working for an HP Pavillion dv1000 and it did not work (didn't quite fit). He suggested I exchange it for the same RAM from a different manufacturer, but that also did not work. I sent him a photograph of RAM not fitting into the computer and he realized my HP Pavillion was a newer one and required a diffident type of RAM so finally he sent out a third shipment and it worked perfectly. I can safely recommend this seller as someone committed to customer satisfaction.

Bought 2 1GB sticks for my dv1000. Works perfectly.

The memory card was shipped promptly and arrived in great shape. It was very easy to install and it improved my PC's performance and speed a lot. Very good good price and good decision to buy from Amazon.com.
