(To help stop the washing machine vibrating)?** A: Possibly, though this isn't what they are designed for. If you unscrew the two parts as tight as possible against machine and worktop it might hold. However an even wash load might still work them loose. **Q: Do they come with screws?** A: No, but they do have a long drill bit for drilling into a solid wall if needed. **Q: Would I be able to use these for other units not in the kitchen, ie a wardrobe?** A: I think you can use them anywhere you need fix an item a set distance from a wall. Your wardrobe or cupboard will need to stand on a firm base as these are just spacers and would not take a load. I used them behind skirting boards in a loo when boxing in pipes around the floor.
