These wire twisters work good on various sizes of wire.π―π―π―
These wire twisters do a good job of twisting the wires together tight and clean. The twist cap tool does a good job, I had four outdoor lights to replace and the wire twisters and the cap twister worked like a charm. With these two I was able to replace all four lights in just a few hours, and that is great. We live on the gulf and with the heat and humidity I had to do it before the het got to me, I'm 70 years old so these were a real life saver for me. They let me twist the wires tight and fast then slap the cap on and I'm done and outa there!π―π―π―

NOT 1/4" Shank
The blue plastic wire nut tool does have a 1/4" Quick Release shank. However, the small metal tool has a 6mm hex shank, and the two larger tools have a 9mm hex shank. I purchased these bits to use with my tool belt 1/4" Quick Release bit holder, but only one of the four tools will fit. The other three bits will have to be stored elsewhere and require a separate adjustable chuck drill to actually use them. Given the high torque required for the two larger tools, the bigger shank size is likely justifiable, but the set is definitely not the 1/4" shanks advertised. And, unfortunately, I had ordered two sets based upon the item description. I intend to keep both sets, but be aware of what you will actually receive.
