I can even make my own Ice Cream in this!
I have been thrilled with this purchase since the first week! I've almost forgotten all the recipes that are so much easier with this appliance. I really like Oster appliances - as long as you get the right one. I make pizza once a week, little less in the summer. The part I liked least about pizza night is chopping the veggies. I prebake my crust, because I like them thick, but not doughy. While the dough is baking in my 12" Lodge cast iron skillet, I chop the vegetables, shred the cheese, and have even made fresh tomato-basil sauce in this food processor. Sauce with fresh and flavorful tomatoes are better than anything store-bought by at least seven-fold. I make the dough from scratch, so the sauce is the one thing I could never take pride in before. You can even make creamy cheese sauce in this processor if you want a change from the common tomato-based sauce.I've also used this processor for shredding carrots and slicing vegetables for other recipes. Making biscuits - done that too. I also make a lot of salsa, very hot and spicy that is devoured quickly.Creamy recipes are whipped up even faster than cookie doughs and I never get bored of experimenting with new recipes. Today, I made my favorite recipe (so far) to make in this food processor. Ice cream! All you need is 4 half-frozen bananas and about 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Pulse until the bananas are creamy. Then you can add the flavors you want. You can also add sugar, honey, agave, or other sweeteners. Today, I used a bunch of strawberries that were frozen but mostly thawed, and half a can of chilled coconut cream. Pulsed in those strawberries and then put in the freezer for about two hours. After one hour, stir the ice cream so it becomes more creamy, not so icy. In another hour, enjoy! If you want harder ice cream, leave in freezer longer. Or shorten the time for soft serve. I think the next batch I'll make some caramel from scratch and add pecans.I have seen youtube videos of people making ice cream in blenders and food processors, but I hesitated to try it. I'm glad I got over that trepidation because I doubt I will ever buy ice cream from the store again. But after making homemade nut butter in this food processor, I became more confident that this processor can do just as well as those expensive processors I can't afford. For some recipes, it may take a couple minutes longer because it is not the highest wattage, but I can live with that. Also, when making ice cream, make sure to thaw frozen ingredients a little. Cleaning up this food processor is much easier than fussing with an ice cream maker, and using valuable space to freeze the bowl and make a ton of ice. I already freeze most fruits I purchase so they don't go bad before I can consume them. I make a lot of smoothies and green smoothies, so these are ingredients I don't mind sharing with my ice cream recipes. You can even make this with all vegan ingredients so it is healthy for you and your family and guests.I know there are other recipes I could talk about making in this food processor, but in almost 3 months of owning this Oster food processor, I've barely started having fun with the many recipes I passed up because I didn't have a food processor. One of the best things about this particular food processor, that was important to me, is that it is easy to move. I get enough of a workout from my cast iron cookware, I didn't want something else I'd have to heft out of a cabinet. However, in hindsight, this doesn't take up as much counter space as models with a higher price tag, so I've been leaving it on my counter. Right behind my Oster blender. I wanted a smaller processor than 10-cups, but that has turned out to be a great size for so many recipes, and dough, that I am glad I did not choose a smaller one. Many times, I prefer making large batches so I can have leftovers and don't have to cook as much. 10 cups is about perfect for enough vegetables and cheese for 2 deep dish pizzas in my 12" cast iron skillet.

Good Product but can be better
It does the job for Juices and Dough mixing. But coming to cleaning, Jar is so delicate, It may break if accidentally drops on hard floor. And you need to careful while cleaning or putting blades/scissors back, they are so super sharp.Overall, It's OK but daily usage will be different considering delicate Jar. Need something sturdy and strong.

It works, and it's not expensive
Not super high quality materials, but it's functional, and pretty easy to assemble and use. It works. I don't know how long it'll last, but it sure beats chopping veggies, etc., by hand.

Works well
I have no fear of a kid hurting themself with this machine. There are 3 safety features that have be set before it will run. The bowl has to be locked in, the lid has to be locked on and the feeder tool has to be inserted and push down. I wanted to make an apple brown Betty, chopping the bread worked really well as was slicing the apples, very impressive. No time at all. Cleaning the bowl was a snap, the lid was a different story, maybe something Oster could remedy. There is a ridge in the lid that sits on the bowl. Pieces of food seem to get stuck in it making it a little difficult to clean, but an old toothbrush works to dislodge it. I believe that was also mentioned by a previous reviewer. Lost 1 star for that. BONUS: all the parts fit into the bowl so you won’t be losing them. This unit is tall, 16” when assembled. When you are making dough you make sure you are holding on to this sucker, it jumps and bounces around more than a herd of wild horses. If you're not paying attention, you could find it on the floor. Update: So far I have made dough twice for pizza and this processor is just a pain to clean. Dough gets stuck everywhere inside the bowl, inside the parts, and all over my hands when I'm trying to remove it. I've decided it's way more convenient and less messy by making dough in my Bosch mixer with a dough hook.

Difficult to set up for use
It was priced reasonably at about $20 less than the exact same unit at Walmart. However, every use is extremely difficult to set it up and lock the bowl into the base due to the safety feature that prevents use unless all of the parts are perfectly aligned. Aligning the bowl into the base is the difficulty because it requires quite a bit of strength to slide them into the governor. I'm on my 60s and then years from now, I may not be able to lock it because it requires so much handling to set it into place to operate. Also, the multiple speeds are a useless feature as there isn't an actual slower speed. You get too fast and even faster. The engineers need to go back to the drawing board on these two features.

Didn't Last
Only had for one year, and motor burned out. Probably was only used 10 times total. Very disappointed.

Work bowl plastic breaks easily - can't use afterward
I bought this to replace my other food processor that died, and it worked ok for a few times. But then I had difficulty getting the plastic work bowl off of the motor base. I tried to jiggle it, I tried moving slow, I didn't want to put too much pressure on it. Then it came off, phew! But later again it got stuck and when I got it off this time, a small plastic piece broke off the bottom of the work bowl and not the entire thing doesn't work. Ugh! It's so frustrating that such a small thing makes the whole machine not work. The part that broke seems to be the part that helps lock it in and tell the motor base "you can work now, it's safe." But it got stuck on it's own, so that just stinks. I haven't been able to easily find a way to by a replacement work bowl (since I have all of the other parts already.) :(

Very difficult to clean the food processor after use.
Cleaning the food processor after use is a real problem:-Processed food becomes lodged in the spring activated safety swithch. This food cannot be removed withoutremoving the safety switch which is very awkward. Reinstalling the safety switch is even worst. It took 15 minutesfor the reinstallation. Plan to retun the food processor accordingly.

Poor build quality
I opened this food processor and was immediately concerned about the quality of the machine. The plastic was so light and thin, it felt like a dollar store toy.Regardless, I proceeded to assemble the machine, but the interlock that ensures the bowl and lid are on would not engage.I returned the unit.I expected a lot more from Oster. I have owned their products in the past and thought well of the brand until now.I don’t recommend this product

Love it, but it stopped working! (Customer service was great and replaced it!)
I love love love it, but after about 4 months mine just stopped working - no idea how to fix it!!Edit - when you turn the container to lock it into the base, there is a small plastic clip that engages the power - that's what broke! Called Oster customer service and they sent out a whole new food processor the same day!
