Amazing rack system! Still love it over a year later and have ZERO complaints.
Update #2 five years later. The rack still NEVER moved, everything was always the same. I loved the rack and wish I didn’t have to sell it when I did. When I get another kit a Gibraltar rack with keep it together.*Update*I've had this rack for well over a year and have played many....many shows with it and I still have ZERO complaints about it. I will add that this rack is a giant time saver when setting up at a show. The way I load and unload this rack makes me have my entire kit set up in under 10 minutes. I will take all of the cymbals off and leave my rack tom attached and get a friend to help me load it into the trailer fully set up.(YES EVEN MY EXTREMELY HEAVY DW9000 HI HAT STAND STAYS LOCKED IN PLACE!) It takes no time at all with one person on each side. When loading into a venue its the same thing, just get a friend to help carry it out of the trailer and inside all in once piece, same goes for getting it on stage. Another time saver for me is putting all of the cymbals on before we carry it on stage, so the only thing I have to do is put my floor tom in place, my pedals, my snare, and my throne. I use a drum rug and have tape marking where everything sits to speed that up. The best thing about this rack for me is that EVERYTHING IS THE EXACT SAME WAY EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU PLAY, NO MATTER HOW FAR WE DRIVE OR HOW BANGED UP IT GETS IN THE TRAILER. I've had my band mates literally STAND on this thing while playing a show and nothing moves....its amazing. If you're questioning getting this rack please don't hesitate anymore. As a musician its the best tool you can have. I've added some better pictures to this review showing how good this rack looks. The pictures I posted a year ago were just after setting it up for the first time. Keep in mind some of these pictures are months or weeks apart....and everything is at the same angle, in the same place, every time. I would give this rack 100 stars if I could.*Old review*This rack is a huge time saver! Plus it looks absolutely amazing! It comes with more than enough memory locks and clamps for MY set up. Super sturdy rack and easy to set up. Every time I play a show I get questions about my rack from at least 10 people. Highly recommended product!

No directions provided but after pulling all of the parts out it's pretty easy to figilute it out.
Absolutely awesome rack and extremely sturdy. I bought this to use on a Roland Vad 506 with an extra rack tom and all three fit perfectly on this system. As some have stated there are no directions but it can only be set up one way. And for those complaining about the side arms no being level I had no problem leveling them at all it just takes some time. The most import part that needs to be level is the front bar. Once that's done the side ones can be a little off and the rack still functions great. My only complaint is no one currently has the chrome clamps available if you need more than this system provides.

Good product but.....
When I viewed this rack the description said it came with two mini cymbal boom arms. These were not included in the packaging. Is there any way for these to be shipped separately? It’s in the description of the item and they were not included in the packaging.Overall it’s a good rack. Easy to put together although there were no directions included. It’s sturdy and solid.J. Nice rack, but not worth the money. Buy a PDP instead.
By the time you get done adding extra memory locks and the cymbal arms, you might as well had just bought the PDP rack which comes with all the extras all ready. I own both. If I need another in the future I will buy the PDP.

Never been so happy with my drum set
Just received this as an early Father's Day gift. LOVE it. I play as a hobby, not a profession, and I've never used a rack before this one. This is the first time in 25 years of playing (off & on) that I could really truly get all my toms in exactly the angles and positions I want. The rack is very versatile and the various clamps works great with my hodge-podge mix of different hardware brands. The vertical legs double as cymbal stands, taking two out of the mix, and it comes with different sized collars so any thickness of stand or boom-stand arm can be held firmly. The large clamps on the curved horizontal bars can hold any tom mount arm or cymbal stand at any height or angle. The rack itself is very stable, and the two curved "wings" wrap around the drum set to mount even more gear. And the whole thing just looks great, even making my off-brand mutt drums look classy.Be ready to spend a couple of hours or more the first time playing around and adjusting until you get everything how you like it. But memory locks and clamps mean that future tear-down and set-up will be much faster and easier to consistently set it up just the way you want every time.

Very Nice!
I REALLY like this rack system. It's sturdy af, easy to put together, and looks great. It's the same high quality design and materials I've come to expect from Gibraltar over the years. This rack supports my 7 piece and really frees up a lot of space. Plus, I was able to sell my cymbal stands for about what I paid for this rack.

Not what I expected.
This rack sucks. It's not at all what I expected it to be. The round tubing makes it hard to adjust and the two main legs are curved as well for some stupid reason adding to the difficulty of setting it up evenly. I'm just going to stick with my Pearl rack now that I realize how much easier and better it is to setup.

Versatile Space Saver
Pros: allows you to condense a lot of equipment into smaller spaceCons: Clamps and accessories to hold toms and cymbals are an added expenseI mounted 2 toms and 7 cymbals on this rack. Crammed all that into a small space. Its very sturdy, nice and shiny too. Accessories needed to allow you to use the rack in this way are an added expense. I was able to use parts of my existing cymbal stands for this but couldn't avoid paying for extra clamps. Factor that in. Its like buying a new cymbal stand hardware kit.Expensive -but I'm happy with it.
