I caught the edge of one of my alloys whilst holidaying in France. I thought I'd try this rim protector strip as an interim solution. It arrived and I had my reservations about how it would look, I chose black not wanting to change the look of the wheels. I gave the contact area a thorough clean and then dried it properly with a hair dryer also warming the contact area. It was surprisingly easy to apply. I took my time and cut the trim with a craft knife to make the join as unobtrusive as possible. I then went around the circumference with the hairdryer applying pressure to the trim. I repeated on all four wheels and the adhesion feels very strong. I've done about 40 miles since and have had no issues with it staying in place. If it lasts that will be great, its cheap and easy enough to replace and it looks better than I expected. I would definitely recommend it.

Bought this to try to protect my newly powder coated wheels, cleaned the wheels with degreaser, then rubbing alcohol seemed to go on fine, left it overnight in decent temps, instructions say 5-7hrs so thought longer couldn't hurt, did less than 50 miles before i lost the first one, only upside is that it made a cool noise coming off as it rattled along the body, for my *return* i put what was left of the fresh stuff and took the rest of the fitted stuff off which was also barely holding on and put that in the return package too...

Extremely recommend. Bought this to protect my alloys as they can get hit to curbs all the time and I can tell they are easy to install and have done the job well. They have protect my alloys from all damage.

On for 2 days and all have fallen off waste of money don’t buy

Cleaned alloys, applied product and left overnight, longer than manufacturer recommended, and within 3 weeks protection came off whilst on the motor on 2 of the 4 wheels.

Arrived the next day as promised, simple to fit and looks great. Thank you

This product does an excellent job of safeguarding my alloy rims. The installation process was a bit challenging initially, but it was absolutely worth the effort. I'm pleased with the added protection.
