Sewing Machine Print Cover

Loved the pattern, case is big on my machine though. I still use it!

This is attractive and well made, and I'm glad I made the purchase. The only thing is that it is not at all rigid, as the photos suggest. It just flops over the machine and hangs loosely, as most do.

This is a cute dust cover to replace the old pillowcase I was draping over my sewing machine! My Janome has a hard case already, but I like to cover it with cloth to keep dust from going through the handle opening. I was pleasantly surprised that the fabric of this cover was as thick as it was. It's a synthetic material but has a nice canvas-like heft to it. The size is ample. I have an older mechanical machine, and this cover was plenty loose, so I assume this would also fit much bigger machines. The picture shows more rigidity in the form, which is false. It's an unstructured cloth that just drapes over, so you'll have to decide if the price is worth the cute fabric print options. Speaking of which, the sewing design is attractive and vibrant. I think it lends a cute style to my sewing nook. The cover will protect well from dust since it fits over the whole machine. It includes a wide zipper pocket for...something? I haven't decided what yet. Someone else suggested the manual, so I'll see if that's a good fit. Anything too heavy will pull the fabric down, though. The top has the functionality of a ribbon handle so you can easily pull the cover off when you're ready to create!

This Sewing Machine Dust Cover works really well for storage. However, the practicality of there being no handle slot, or elastic on the bottom does make handling less than ideal (-1*). I tried tucking the cover under the bottom of my machine (because it is loose enough), but it’s not really practical when dust/debris can be kicked up under it. This wouldn’t prevent rodents/insects from gaining access to the inside of the cover either. The pocket is nice for user manuals and plug-in pedals. It’s redeeming quality is it’s versatile size which fits all three of my sewing machines.

This is a good cover for your sewing machine and helps prevent it from dust. It’s not rigid and it’s made of a soft nylon-like material on the outside which helps keep thread bits from sticking to it. There is a zip pocket on the front for storage and a ribbon handle on top for when you want to lift it off your machine. The size is perfect for most home sewing machines and the print is charming.

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this sewing machine dust cover. It is well-constructed with careful stitching and all interior seams are finished in tape. The zipper is a polyester coil and opens to a roomy pocket that will accommodate storage of manuals, extra bobbins, a seam ripper, even small stitching projects. Heavier items might pull the cover to one side of the machine, but a pair of shears should be fine. The fabric is a tightly woven polyester which will protect a machine from the dust that accumulates in a sewing room. While the cover comes in many prints, I received the vintage collage of sewing paraphernalia in pinks and blues on a cream background. There is a small twill tape handle on the top of the cover for easy removal or perhaps to hang when not in use. This item is not a framed structure. The cover size is generous over my old Kenmore but doesn't stay square the way the company's photos show. That doesn't affect its usage., but if you are looking for a hard sided box to cover your machine, this is not it. There's plenty of room for a larger machine or one with an extension skirt. *Caution: please check the measurements of the cover as compared to the size of your machine. Machines all vary and some with the larger throats for quilting or embroider may not fit.* While I'd been intending to make a cover for my machine (after all, I do sew, right?), this is a great solution for a reasonable price and takes an item of my to-do list. It's a win-win!

This sewing machine protective cover is made of a washable polyester material. My old one is just made of a thin nylon material that came with my sewing machine so I thought picking this up would be a great idea. I really love this cover as it really protected my sewing machine from dust. It is a bit bigger for my machine but I suppose it was made to fit bigger sewing machines too. The prints are beautiful, and it has a large zippered pocket on the side to store small items used in sewing such as scissors, rippers, spools of threads, measuring tape and other knick-knacks. I wish it had a hole on the top for the sewing machine handle so it will be easier to carry it with the dust cover on. Overall, this is a heavy-duty cover. It's a good find and I would recommend it for those who love to sew like me.
