It perfectly hydrated my skin giving it a very dewy glow afterwards. The consistency is best used when it's refrigerated so when you apply it it's cold and gel-like. I have used this skin care for two years now and it’s my favorite serum I honestly like the smell I’ve heard different and mixed views about the smell but it doesn’t bother me I think it smells like fruity summer type but it’s very hydrating I love how it feels on my skin and I’ve noticed a difference in my skin tone very even super nice

READ FURTHER DOWN⬇️ I purchased this serum Feb 7th it is now March 12th. I have been using this serum everyday since I purchased and I have been enjoying it. I do see a slight difference in my skin. My skin tone is much more even and the few acne dark spots that I had have faded. Like others have mentioned this product does have fragrance but for me personally it is not strong at all and doesn’t irritate my skin, I actually find it quite enjoyable. The consistency is like most serums it’s a gel like consistency that feels sticky when applied but goes away once I add on my other products. I’m a HUGE fan of their rice milk moisturizer which is why I decided to try this serum. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star and not 5 star is because I truly don’t know if I would repurchase again. I do see a slight difference in my skin but nothing major to the point where I find this product absolutely necessary. I might change my mind once I finish the entire bottleEDIT MAY 8th: So as you can see I was enjoying the serum but soon after leaving this review I noticed around my eyelids and outer corner of my eyes, I began to get a rash that was itchy and would burn when I applied my products. I NEVER used this serum around my eyes, but the only new product I incorporated into my skincare routine was this serum, so I stopped using and the rash went away! I did further research and found out it was eyelid dermatitis which is when your skin comes into contact with something you’re allergic to. I’m not sure what specific ingredient in this serum caused this to happen. Although I never used it around my eyes I think it probably got moved around when applying my moisturizers therefore reaching my eye area. I figured I should update this review and share this for those folks who have sensitive skin. This is something to keep in mind. This was just my experience and everyone’s skin is different! What didn’t work for me might work for you! I love Goodal rice milk line but this serum in particular didn’t work for me and that’s okay! :)

I didn't want to like this. I didn't think I would like this. I usually avoid products with essential oil (especially citrus) because those are known sensitizing agents, and I've been through enough products with these ingredients to know they just aren't worth the potential headache. So I put off getting this for years despite knowing how popular it is in Korea. I wondered why Goodal would pollute an otherwise terrific formula with EOs. But I decided to cave because I was really tired of a few stubborn dark spots. And I hate to admit it, but ... this stuff is great. It smells great. It feels like. It looks great. And it is working. It's been a month, so I'm not saying that becoming sensitized at some point down the line isn't possible (that can happen over time even when all has been well for a while), but so far, so good. And for anyone questioning whether this formula is legit because it says "Vitamin C" instead of "Vita-C," the official Goodal Instagram shows both products, and I think this "Vitamin C" label is just the U.S. version of the product; everything appears to be the same.

Too much fragrance and did not really make a difference. There's better products out there that are acne safe and good for sensitive skin. This did not break me out but it did not brighten my skin like it said it would either, not much change on acne scars and hyperpigmentation.

I really like this product. It doesn't dry my face out, smooths out easily. Great bottle size and lasting time for money.

This works wonders I’ve noticed my aged spots has lightened drastically and my complexion is more even and radiant!
