Fantastic Replacement Hatchet Handle
I have used Ochsenkopf handles a lot in the past to give a new life to old axe and hatchet heads and will continue to do so.Great quality and there's plenty of wood to ensure it can be sanded to perfectly fit any head.I tend to remove the yellow handle coating for a more natural appearance however it is a good grippy handle with a perfect fit in the hand when in use.

A sound and safe handle.
There are many small hand axe handles available: straight ones, short ones and longer. This one is the traditional shape and length that balances the axe and makes it safer to hold and control. Whilst slightly more expensive than some others the price reflects the handle quality, good design and will create a better and safer tool.
