Great book! Amazing images. Very comprehensive.

Bought, didn't like, returned, thank you Amazon. 50/50 on the content. Liked some of it a lot as great pensmanship, the other half felt like being recruited into point break or dead presidents somehow, and the distinct impression that ray may be a guy whose life is hostage, or in some strange trust case where others distribute his work without his say so. There are three books with surfer covers. That I know of. Don't join a crimewave if your not ready. It seems to get sexual and endangerment oriented pretty quickly. To be clear, a stellar draftsman. Someone or someone's who could drink beers with Hitler and hold on to their humanity. That may be me in this case, so beat that in mind when reading. I am pretty uptight about strange packages arriving. Mainly wondering if pettibon is a studio, because there is very clearly a person. And big waves.

For the Record: I Love This Book! However, CAVEAT EMPTOR: Amazon keeps falsely advertising this as the "slipcase edition" - in multiple places in both the item description and editorial reviews - but THIS version is simply the standard hardcover edition. Returned two copies, so no more slipcase editions exist apparently.
