Zips normally come in numbered sizes i.e 3 ,5, 8 etc. Can you tell me what size zip your FixnZip Zipper Repair-Medium Graphite actually fits.

This question was asked some time ago but I thought that this information will probably be helpful to others. Size small will fit 1 - 4, size medium will fit 5 - 7 and size large will fit 8 - 10.

Do i need to remove original zipper

You don't have to remove it but it looks better if you do. I had to lever it off with a screwdriver once I had got the new zipper working.

My zip is 7mm wide, which i think means it needs a medium fixnzip. could you confirm this? thanks!

Hi, Yes I am sure the medium zip is what you need. Make sure it is the zip and not the end metal bits because it did not work for me. The FixnZip looks like a good piece of kit but I found it did not work because of this problem. Good luck.
