Nice tamagoyaki pan, good nonstick surface
This is an approximately 5" x 7" tamagoyaki pan for cooking eggs by GIPP. It comes with the handle separate, and includes a screw, washer, and lock washer, as well as a full size screwdriver to attach the handle. I like to make egg sandwiches, but have never had a good way to make the eggs fit well on toast, so I got this pan to solve that problem, and also to have a pan when I want just one or two eggs. The pan is nice looking and is lightweight, but is thick enough that it feels sturdy. It is made of cast aluminum, but it has an induction-friendly base that also serves to distribute heat evenly. The nonstick surface is very slick and eggs really do slide off so far. I'm hoping the nonstick property will last a good long time, and it seems like it probably will. The one thing I would change is that this pan does not come with the appropriate silicone spatula made for tamagoyaki. If it was up to me, it would not come with a full size screwdriver, but instead would come with a tamagoyaki spatula. As of the time I'm writing this, the price for this pan is $23.88, which seems to be about the going rate for these pans, so that's fine.

Eggs Slide Right Out
Love, love this funny shaped pan. I used a very small amount of butter for my egg. It slid around the pan with ease, and was very easy to flip. I have to get used to the shape, but actually it's not bad. And clean up is a breeze. I take a paper towel and wipe the pan out if there is any residue, then wash with a drop of dish liquid and then rinse. The only assembly was screwing the handle on with the screwdriver provided. I really like the coating on this pan. Since it is a nonstick pan, I have read somewhere not to use cooking sprays, as they will ruin the surface of your nonstick pans, so I do not use any cooking sprays in this pan, and so far I have not had a problem with my eggs sticking. Can't wait to make an omelet. I highly recommend this pan.

Nice quality, great for eggs!
I love the feel of the handle. It's extra smooth, but still grippy. Kind of like some of those old smartphones that used to come out earlier on with those smooth finish grips. The non stick is definitely non stick which helps with making all kinds of eggs. Really easy to make cute and rectangular asian omelettes with this pan. Highly recommend.
