We now have scissors in all of the places where they might be needed around the house.

So far these are working great.The bulk pack means no going room-to-room for scissors, just stash 'em in all the common use places like office, kitchen, living room, etc. Lots of color combos, and fairly comfortable to grasp & use even with medium-large hands.

This are great scissors and would work well for sewing too if they were kept always for fabric as sewing scissors should always be kept separate and not used on anything but fabric, thread and tissue patterns.

Very comfortable and I absolutely love the colors! Will be purchasing some more soon.

These are a great set of basic 8-inch scissors. They cut just fine and I really liked the color combinations. Planning to tuck them away throughout the house… the kitchen, office, garage, etc. I do, however, emphasize they are basic. I was hoping for a bit more weight/cushioning to the grip. I have some higher-priced general-duty scissors like that. These look like them, but the quality isn’t quite the same. That said, again, perfect for general use. I used to run group craft classes with adults, and these would have been a perfect, affordable purchase for that. I do recommend them, but with the caveat they’re basic.

I could open my boxes today because I now have some scissors. I know I am probably stating the obvious, but we keep running out of scissors over the years because we wait too long to replace them, and we end up with multiple pairs that don’t cut anything anymore. These are great; they are not smooth yet sharp and don't get hung up. They are easy to grip as well. I am left-handed and have no problem with them.My mother was brilliant; she had special scissors for poultry, crafts, sewing, and, I suppose, others. But for my husband and I, this is something we usually don’t think of, and now we have six of them in different colors.I suppose color coding is something someone might want to do if you assign one item for each person and so on. There are many ideas that we can come up with to use these. But mainly, when a package has to be opened or a thread hanging from a garment, it’s nice to have something like this.If I want to follow my mother‘s lead and get poultry scissors or other specialty ones, that’s another option, but I wouldn’t use these for food. I suppose you could, but there are better ones out there that do what you need them to, and I’m sure there’s an excellent reason why they are better for that.I will keep one of these in the bathroom and one in the office, and I'm putting some in the kitchen drawers.There is also an option to get 24 of these at a pretty good price, another option available on this product page. I’m sure you could spend more on scissors. You might consider better quality, but if you buy them in bulk, you can keep fresh ones around, and if they are sharp like these, I don’t see any reason to spend so much. In my opinion, these are just fine, at least for us.As far as cleaning is concerned, I’m not going to stress it because, as mentioned above, if I can replace something quickly, it is something that I will consider buying over another brand or type.This is an excellent value, enjoy!
