What kind of timer does this use? Is it mechanical or electronic?

OZB1 uses an electronic digital timer from 0–300 minutes. It has no mechanical rotary parts, helps avoid timer sticking, and includes a 10-sec exit delay plus 10-min auto-ventilation.

How long should I run the OZB1 ozone generator in my basement?

For common basement odors, run the OZB1 for 60 minutes. For larger spaces or persistent musty odors, extend the cycle to 90 minutes. Always use it in an unoccupied area and ventilate thoroughly before re-entry.

What size space can this actually treat?

OZB1 treats up to 1,000 sq ft per 90-min cycle. For larger spaces, treat room by room with ventilation between cycles for better odor removal performance.

Can ozone generators create harmful byproducts inside my home?

Yes, if used too long. Ozone may react with indoor VOCs over time. OZB1 supports controlled short-cycle use with a digital timer and 10-min auto-ventilation.

Will running this damage my furniture, electronics, or fabrics?

Not when used correctly. Avoid excessive exposure. Remove people, pets, plants, latex items, and sensitive artwork. Use short cycles and let auto-ventilation finish.
