Once these are on, they're on pretty solid. I even mounted a pair on a wooden desk, and the adhesive strip still held very well.

I was expecting it to have a bit more flex to allow me to easily place cables inside, but the plastic is pretty rigid. Thicker cables can be pretty difficult to tuck away

After years of trying different methods of concealing cables and, whenever something needed to be swapped out or changed groaning because I'd essentially have to undo all my work, I saw someone using a raceway on reddit and couldn't believe such a simple solution exists. Certainly this won't solve all cable management problems, but for me it solved the vast majority, and in a way that's extremely easy to work with and change.First off, like virtually everyone, it seems, I'm using this with a desk made of pieces purchased from Ikea. The raceway itself is taller than the desktop is thick, so it hangs down a bit, but the adhesion strip is almost exactly the same thickness as the desktop. The desk I'm using has a kind of texture to it, so unfortunately the raceway isn't adhered quite as tightly as I'd like, but it has never fallen down - it would just be a bit easy to pull off, which ultimately is probably a good thing. I have almost every single cable running through the raceway, and while it did get a bit difficult to keep jamming them in there, whenever I've had to pull one out it's been very easy. No more having to cut cable ties or reposition those little cable clips adhered by foam tape that always tears and leaves a mess - just grab one end, pull slowly along the length of the raceway, and out it pops.One other thing to note is that I had to actually saw the raceway into certain length pieces, as I have a monitor clamp on my desk I had to work around. So I just measured, used a fine-toothed handsaw to cut, and sanded down the edges. Also had to measure and cut the adhesive strips since they're the same length as the raceway pieces, but this was no big deal.Anyway, if you need to run cables along a straight distance, I would strongly recommend this. I'm unable to use something like this in more complex setups, but even just running them along the baseboard of a wall helps clean up the cable clutter to a considerable degree, and it makes a big difference in the overall look of everything while requiring *very* little effort.

Exactly we I need for my desk

I have a desk located in the middle of my room and I normally try to hide all the USB cables, etc. underneath the desk. I recently upgraded from my desktop iMac to a Mac Mini which means I have many more cables to hide. I purchased this J-Channel to be installed on the front of my desk to hide the rat nest of wires going between my Mac Mini and the monitor and other peripherals I have on and under my desk. The J-Channel itself is pretty sturdy and well constructed. It comes with a 2-sided sticky adhesive pad which was super sticky and strong (taking off the protective film was a bit difficult!). The J-Channel stuck to the front of my wood desk with no problem and was strongly attached. All of the cables and wires were neatly stowed in the channel and out of sight-- mission accomplished! I'm really glad I purchased this product and highly recommend it for having a tidy desk.

These truly are life-savers when it comes to my organizational OCD. Seriously, I have a gaming rig (Threadripper 1950x... you know), and a desk that is attached to the wall in the corner of my room. That means hiding the cables, which were plentiful, was always difficult. So, I never bothered before. Until I bought this!I will upload pictures when I get back home, but seriously the difference is night and day. This perfectly blends with my desk setup, as it would atop a kitchen counter-top or above the wall footings. I thought it would be too small at first, but all my cables (HDMI, mouse, keyboard, webcam, speaker cables, and more) fit snug and nice, while remaining out of sight and out of mind. Truly an excellent buy.The adhesive that attaches to the J Chanel Organizer and then to the wall is also great, strong to hold it in place nice and tight, but I can see difficulties removing this in the future if you change your mind. So, THING TWICE before attaching this to your wall or desk, since you will have a hard time removing it later and probably will leave residue behind.Still love it so much! Super helpful, lives up to the name. And I only used 2 of the 5, so I have some extras left for the future!

There is honestly nothing I hate more than a messy desk. I may be disorganized in many aspects of my life but when it comes to my work/game-station I always have it looking nice and clean. I knew that I was going to have to purchase some sort of cable routing option to make the appearance of my new setup look as organized as possible and I've contemplated several different methods. I finally did reach a conclusion and chose to go with this particular brand of raceway channels and I could not be happier about them. They are made of a nice plastic that is hard and durable, they can hold several cables within them while still maintaining a slim and low profile appearance (I have nine different cables running through one and there is still plenty of room for more), they stick really well with the provided adhesive strips, and they are good price. I only needed to use two channels for my setup, yet the package came with four so I have two left over that I can use if I ever find a place for them in my apartment, which I like. Definitely something that I would recommend getting if you really do appreciate having a clutter free work-space.

Llevaba tiempo buscando un sistema para organizar los cables de mi escritorio y al final me decidí por éste. Se coloca de forma muy sencilla con unas cintas adhesivas de doble cara (incluidas). Simplemente despegas una de las caras de la cinta y la pegas a la canaleta, luego despegas la otra cara y la pones bajo el escritorio o donde quieras pasar los cables. Colocando una al lado de otra puedes cubrir hasta un escritorio de 2 metros.Una vez acopladas al escritorio, es muy fácil introducir los cables y que queden en su interior bien sujetos y guardados. Ya no hay cables colgando, enredados o cogiendo polvo detrás del escritorio. Una muy buena solución.No le doy la 5a estrella porque el espacio de la canaleta para pasar los cables, me la esperaba un poco mas grande, para que entrasen mas cables (sobretodo si tienes que pasar cables muy gruesos). De todas maneras para un uso normal en cuanto a cables de un escritorio, es suficiente.En la caja vienen 5 Canaletas de 40 cm cada una (en total 2m) con sus respectivas cintas adhesivas de doble cara.
