Placement pressure is everything!
I am going through a lengthy (grrr) wait for eventual surgery for a double inguinal hernia. I bought this Eluntra belt and one by Uriel to see which worked better. The Uriel was a bit more comfortable material...but it's "pressure pads" were in pre-sewn pockets that didn't have much adjustment ability. This Eluntra belt, on the other hand, does the "important" stuff all by velcro...so you can not only tighten the belt by adjusting the velcro (like the Uriel), but you can also make *minute* changes to the placement of the "pressure pads", which is ***HUGE*** in terms of managing "pop-outs" during the day, especially if you are moving around and doing things during the day (which most of us likely have to do). It isn't the most comfortable thing in the world to wear...but no hernia belt that does it's job right would be able to be comfortable, as the whole point is to maintain pressure on your inguinal canal(s) to avoid pop-outs. At this point, it's a life saver for me, because as you all know, the longer you have to deal with this, the more those pop-outs happen and the more painful they become over time...not to mention the intestinal discomfort and the other charming aspects of inguinal hernias. Whee!!! Anyway, this belt was well designed and it allows you to put the pressure in the right place and adjust as needed...and it's affordable to boot. I kind of felt guilty about preferring the product that was made in China to the Uriel...but Uriel is a foreign (Israel) company as well, so I didn't feel *that* bad about it, and even if it was American, I'd have to choose the Eluntra, because the adjustability of the pressure pad pockets is the most important thing on the belt, IMO. IN that respect, this belt is a winner. Good luck to all of you out there dealing with this!

Game changer!
Game changer! If you are having hernia issues and need to have surgery, this is a great brace to wear while you're waiting for surgery. I can't speak highly enough of how much it greatly reduced my pain. I would not hesitate to anybody to purchase one of these if they had a hernia issue. Here is an example of the size so that you will know what to purchase. I ordered a medium. I am 5'10 215 lb. It is adjustable. If it's me just fine. Once again I can't speak highly enough of this product. I put it on first thing in the morning, where all day, I actually forget that I even have it on. In the evening once I take it off that's all the reminder I need of how good the product works because the pain comes back with every step once this brace is off

It works
Works. Wouldn't have purchased, though, if I'd realized the pads Velcro in place rather than having a pouch

Pretty good, for the most part
The unit provides the support as described on its Amazon page. I bought this for recovering after hernia surgery. On the other hand, the four compression pads that came with the unit are simply too hard and rigid. They hurt.

You won’t regret. Great Belt!
I normally don’t rate a product so fast but I had too on this one. FANTASTIC BELT! I’ve been wearing for at least 12 years. I hated to buy another because every time I do, the quality and fit get worse, NOT THIS TIME! 1- every belt I had (much like this one), I had to wear suspenders to keep them up. They would slide down and you had to go somewhere private to fix them almost every time you got up. 2- they have this Velcro belt that becomes very uncomfortable after wearing just a short time. This one fits GREAT (I have a 32-34 waist and picked medium) and doesn’t slide off at all. It’s as comfortable as wearing underwear. YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED. REMEMBER THIS POST AS YOU SMILE….LOL

Not for men.
This contraction may work great for a woman, but for a man with a hernia a few inches up and a few inches over from penis and testicles, there is absolutely no way to adjust it to not smash your privates uncomfortably, no matter how many ways you try to adjust it.

A bit restrictive in nature.
Although this support belt may be necessary, I found it to be overly intrusive and definitely uncomfortable compared to other such support belts, just my personal opinion. Returned!

It might prove useful in cases, but...
Well-enough made but, in my case, of limited effect in containing or reducing inguinal hernia. I also found it rather uncomfortable to wear and adjust throughout the day.

Hard compression pads.
The belt itself was comfortable and fit okay, but the compression pads that came with it were very hard and I found them extremely uncomfortable and even painful at times.
