I bought this to use as a Dutch oven. I have a Dutch oven but it’s on the larger size. I cook for one now so I don’t need large pans anymore.First thing I noticed upon unpacking is how well it was packed. Nothing was broken or shifting in the box. As others have said, you get a normal sized screw driver to install the handle. (The lids handle is already installed) I too am happy to add this to my tool collection.Second, was how light the pot is. This is a plus as I know it’ll be heavier once food is added to it. I made a pot of chicken soup in it and the balance of it once filled was good. I had no trouble maneuvering it. It’s the perfect size! I also seared the chicken in it before I made the soup and there was no burning. It states to add some oil to the pot to “season” it (like cast iron) and I did. I cooked on medium like it says and had no issues with any burn marks.I hand washed it and added a thin layer of oil to get a coating on it. If you have used cast iron it’s the same. Over time this will help it become more “no stick”.I love this pot and the collection. It’s not only useful, it’s beautiful. I highly recommend it!I got it on sale so it was a great bargain at under $30

Got a great deal! Only issue is the white stained quite quickly, but it's a solid pan and food slides out easily even with little cooking spray. Great size and love the indention for pouring. It's great!!

This is the ultimate frying pan for me. It's lightweight it distributes the heat evenly, it has a nice handle, the lid is very well done as well. Cleans up in a breeze literally just wipe it out with a wet rag although I do use hot water and soap. Best pan I have purchased in a very long time

I love how deep this frying pan is, which is what attracted me to it in the first place. It works really well frying fish. It is well constructed, very thick and solid. The handle fits on perfectly without any “wiggle”. Lid fits perfectly too. The only negative I have observed is the bottom is not completely flat… there is an ever-so-slight wobble to it. Not a complete deal killer, but worth noting.

All I can say is, so far so good. Easy to clean. A pan to make stews, soups and sauces. Not so much for eggs. I use a smaller pan for that. But I needed a deeper pan with a lid and this works fine.
