This is an excellent neck brace product that is very comfortable to wear. When your neck feels uncomfortable, wearing it will bring you relief. You can use it at home while reading, watching TV, or using your phone. It is also suitable for use at the office or while traveling. Even in the summer, it won't feel stuffy when worn. It helps alleviate neck pain. I have purchased similar products before, and I found that the built-in memory foam of this one is different from regular foam; it's very soft. Additionally, it has embedded support PP plates, providing strong support. Most importantly, it is ergonomically designed and does not obstruct breathing.

SHINSOTE Neck Brace for Sleeping, Soft Cervical Collar is soft like memory foam. It's firm and when strapped can be quite tight, so be careful. It's definitely not the old school foam collar you saw uncle fester wear in the Brady Bunch episode where Marcia backed into someones car. Can be used to old your noggin up while sleeping in the car, but honestly I think those C neck pillows would be better.

I have tried and reviewed some similar models and this one has some better features but also is not for me based on the cons below.PROS: 1) Very good memory foam that is not too soft. 2) Nice, soft material that feels good on the skin. 3) Very nicely made.CONS: 1) Support was great in the front of my neck, fair on the sides, and not really apparent in the back. This could be due to the sizing; Using the seller’s directions for measuring for size my neck is about 15”; well within the medium range. The support is 21 ½” long including the Velcro strap so the useable length is about 20 ½” (or less), and because the padded part does not fit entirely around my neck there is little to no support in the back as 2” in the back is just the Velcro strap not adding. 2) The brace does not fell very breathable to me and felt warm in a short period of time because while the material may be breathable, the foam is not.NIT: The is a zipper that opens the brace partially to the foam pad inside but the foam cannot be removed to make cleaning the outside and material easier to clean.My primary reason for trying this brace (and others) was for sleeping (based on the 2nd picture in the Amazon listing) and this does not work for me for that purpose (and that “Usage Scenario” is not on the product box). However, if you have sore neck from spending years looking down to use your laptop, a tablet, or phone like me, this neck brace will help keep the neck aligned which is pain reducing and helpful.

I've been wearing it for a few days since I received it and I find it very helpful.Wearing this neck guard can prevent me from looking down while looking at my phone and can relieve minor cervical pain. The fabric is skin-friendly and comfortable to wear.

I depend on neck support since a neck injury but before I realized this was designed for sleeping, I didn't think i liked it because during the day it was not comfortable since it is not made for daytime movement. It was my mistake not to read the all the info first. Now I value it as the ideal neck support for night as it will stay on whereas my looser daytime ones will come off during the night so I recommend them if stable night support or similar situations make a neck support good for you too.

This is a neck brace. The material is very soft and not hard and uncomfortable like I was worried about originally. It’s made from memory foam, so it’s nice and soft to wear. I mostly wear this on the plane, so my head doesn't flop to one side and I get a crick in my neck. Or worse, flop over on the stranger sitting next to me! It works much better than the U shaped pillows sold for the same purpose as this one you can adjust the tightness and it provides some support all around your neck. A “must have” for frequent fliers or vacationers who don’t want to start their vacation with a stiff neck.

I’m using this neck support/brace while sleeping. I’ve experienced fewer mornings with neck pain over the last 2 weeks since I’ve been using it so I’m a happy camper so far. The brace is soft, comfortable and provides a good amount of support to my neck. I’m glad I ordered this brace.

It's super comfortable. Wish it was a little longer for the height, but that's for my personal neck size as a 6ft man. There wasn't any off gasing/fresh foam smell out of the packaging. It hooks around with velcro and didn't catch any of my hair. It's a relatively thin cushion but does its job.
