Nite Ize QuikStand - Compact Smartphone Stand Fits iPhone, Samsung, Small Tablets, and E-readers

Five * Because It Works As Advertised This little gadget is a tiny bit smaller than a credit card. It unfolds to be a pretty solid stand for my Nexus 5 phone. Its most ingenious feature is the fold out lip which keeps the phone from sliding off (but which also keeps the N5 and any other device that connects on the bottom) from charging in the stand. I actually bought it because the photos "implied" it was large enough to use with a Qi Wireless Charger. And it sorta' is. I posted pics of the device page showing: 1. The bare stand 2. Stand with Anker Qi Wireless Charging Disk 3. Stand, Qi Disk, Charging my Phone. The disk has to be in the middle of the phone to work. It will stay there if pressed into place, but that means moving the phone off and on isn't convenient. I plan to try a double stick velcro picture hanger to hold the Qi Disk in a good place. I'll update my post to report results. Of course, sticking the Velcro on will reduce the stand's "wallet friendly" feature. One annoyance. The stand is VERY stoutly packaged. The package must cost as much to build as the stand. You'll need a knife to open it up, AND you'll want to be careful because the photos on the package of the stand being "unfolded" are helpful. The stand itself isn't terribly stout (you wouldn't want to it be to carry in your wallet). So you'll want to be careful the first time you "unfurl" it as which part bends what direction isn't obvious.

Only miffed that it took so long to find. Astonishing how many half-cooked ideas (and examples) are floating around out there (and I own, lets just say more than a few). So few of these really work; this great little unit is: small (fits easily in wallet), is easy, simple, stable and works remarkably well with my Google Pixel XL 3, in both portrait (up) and landscape (laying down) position. (It also looks good). Really hope it catches on and starts to show up everywhere.... (e.g. drug stores, convenience stores, etc....). *Easily* the best stand out there (that I've found; and I've been looking for over a year.!).

I just got mine today. I was both surprised and impressed! This little gadget stands out, literally 😉 Here, I'm sharing some photos 📸📸 and my first impressions. I will follow up, if needed. Pros 👍👍👍 - Size: It's almost exactly the size and dimensions of a credit card so it fits snugly in my wallet. - Weight: Nite Ize says it's 0.353 oz. I believe them! - Function: No wobble and no shaking. It held my iPhone 13 Pro firmly in place. - Build: It's well thought out and well made. - Value: At $10 MSRP, it's a good buy. - Warranty: On its website, Nite Ize offers "Worry Free Guarantee within two years of the date of original purchase." Cons 👎👎👎 - Even though it has a couple of metal inserts, it feels a bit too delicate. I take good care of my stuff but I don't like to baby them so it remains to be seen if this will hold up over time. My Verdict 🤔 Overall, I like this QuikStand by Nite Ize. It's portable, lightweight, and fairly priced. It works exactly as advertised. Maybe I'm easily amused or maybe I'm just tired of trying to prop up my phone on my coffee cup! I like mine and I have a feeling you will like yours just as much. Hope my review has helped you make a more informed buying decision 👍😊✌️

I bought one of these a number of years ago and it finally wore out. When shopping for a replacement, I saw a knock-off that /looked/ like it might be even better than the original. It had extra slots in the metal piece for seemingly greater configurability. What a mistake that was. After living with it for a couple months, I ponied up to buy the real thing. The knock-off was significantly more flimsy, and not only did it not want to stay open, it wouldn't snap all the way closed, either. It took lots of fumbling to get the phone to actually stay on the stand, and was generally a hassle to use. This stand, on the other hand, stays open with no problem, and when I'm done using it, it snaps closed firmly and stays closed until I want to use it again. It might not /look/ much different, but it feels significantly superior and works much better than the knock-off.

Fits into a credit card slot in my wallet so no extra space taken up, nothing hanging off of my cell phone itself, if you aren't a mag person or like things being attached to your phone this little device will bail you out of the occasional 'I want to watch a movie on the airplane' issue. It is a Little hard to pop in and out if you have fingers made of cotton candy and wishes like mine are, but even so it's manageable. Just pop the silver part out of the mini tabs (you won't break it, I promise), use the bendy back bit to make the angle you want, and use the flip out to hold your device. I don't know about the longevity of it, but for optimizing ultra-light graveling (glam + travel) this gives you the comfort of a phone stand without any space eaten up.

At first, I had a surprisingly good impression of this phone stand at the start. I opened the packaging and I was skeptical of how long the thin plastic would last after repeated uses. However, after playing with it for a bit, I felt there was that much strain on the plastic that made up the body and it should last a while. However, I noticed there were two plastic tabs where the aluminum back plate snaps behind to hold it in place when folded up. I was afraid those would snap off eventually - especially since you had to press with a decent amount of force with your thumb to get it to snap. However, it wasnt the tabs that failed, it was the thin aluminum back. I did notice as I was testing opening and closing it, it took an increasing amount of force each time I snapped it closed. The aluminum back is so thin that each time I snapped it closed, it deformed a little. With each deformation, more force was required. After no more than 10 openings and closings, it will not snap closed at all and the aluminum back was visibly bowed. I bent it back, as flat as I could, but the aluminum will no longer snap closed on one side. Even if I could get it to snap again, I have zero faith it wouldnt happen again, repeatedly.

This is the smallest workable stand I could find for my iPhone 11 (with silicone case) that is roughly the size and weight of a credit card. I didn't have much expectation, but it has managed to be my most used phone stand to date. The plastic flex joints seem pretty tough, and haven't shown much wear in many months. I use this all the time to prop up my phone to play some video for my kid at the restaurant or anytime I need to keep her quiet for extended periods. One nice unexpected feature is that the front flip up lip that secures the stand to the phone will keep the stand attached so I can pick up the phone and the stand stays attached, which is very convenient. Especially since my kid sometimes knocks it around and other stands just let my phone fall out.

I purchased this to prop my phone up on a nightstand for use as an alarm clock in Night Mode. While it does the job, the bendable tab at the bottom is difficult to lift while sliding a phone into or out of the stand, forcing you to use 2 hands and sometimes still struggle not to tap the screen. This is not what you want for my particular use case. I am very happy with the popular Anker Multi-Angle Portable Stand for 4 to 10-Inch Smartphones, E-Reader and Tablets - Silver as a one-handed alternative for my iPad, and I have decided to purchase the PhoneProp - Universal Fit Soft Flexible SmartPhone Stand - Durable FDA High Grade Silicone - Color Black as a replacement for this for my phone. I can see it folding up and traveling well, but it's just not simple or sturdy enough to choose over those options in the same price range for home use.

Ya tenía uno pero necesitaba otro. Es muy útil pues lo llevo siempre en la cartera ya que no ocupa más que una tarjeta de banco. La otra pieza me lleva más de dos años funcionando sin problema.

Just received it. Tried it out with a Pixel 9 pro Fold. It supports it well both folded and unfolded. Able to fit in my Nano Boy wallet too. Impressed so far.
