High Quality and Very Bright Monitor Light Bar
Great monitor light bar, better than the ASUS ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar ALB01 for a much lower price, especially on sale. Both front and back lights are very bright with functions to change brightness/temperature, and the ability to turn off just the back RGB light or just the front light. I have not used the app functions however and don't think I will ever want or need to.Build quality is great, no complaints.Possibly con is that it uses USB C to connect, and that it is not a detachable cable but is attached to the light bar itself. However it requires the USB C connection because I believe standard USB A connectors on computers do not supply enough wattage for the 10 watts it takes.Another possible con is that the clip on the front of the light bar is quite big and may hang over the screen itself. For my monitor, it does block a small portion of it. It is a minor issue and the ASUS alternative doesn't do that.Comparison vs ASUS ALB01 light bar:This uses 10W vs 5W on the Asus side, resulting in much brighter RGB and lighting in general. It also does not dim the RGB at all when having both the front and backlights on at the same time, while the ASUS dims the RGB lighting considerably when you turn on the front light. The ASUS RGB lighting is not that bright to begin with either.Razer's cable is not detachable whereas the ASUS allows you to unplug the cable from the unit. The Asus can also detach the light bar itself from the mount. The Razer also seems to diffuse the lighting over surfaces much better on my desk than the ASUS.I actually kind of like the way you mount the ASUS light bar on your monitor, as it is more flexible with being able to flip the front clip and adjust the tightness in the back. The Razer leaves a gap on my Alienware monitor and the cable going into the underside does not help, whereas the ASUS has the cable going over the mounting and is also more flush with my monitor.

Does the job and colors are cool at night
The light bar does the job greatly, you can change through light color (cold or warm) and light intensity as well, this functionality is great. The chroma is what you would expect, but as I also read in other reviews, it does not update with Synapse, at least that easily. What I didn't "like" is that you have to have the lights on for the chroma to work, you can't have one or the other, you need to have both lights on, or none...But overall, happy with my purchase, although it could've been cheaper.

Good product
it’s a cool light bar. I have all Razer peripherals, so it was cool to be able to get a light bar as well. I noticed a comment that stated you cannot turn off the RGB and the LED separately. That is incorrect, but you will need the gamer room app. I do use this with my PC so you are able to override it with the synapse software and sync it with the rest of your Razer products. When your PC is asleep or off, you are able to control the light bar via the touch bar on the unit or the Razer Gamer Room App.

Fails to Control Light
The primary functionality of a monitor light bar should be light control, so there isn’t glare and image degradation on the display. There should be a sharp cutoff of light going straight down from the aperture, which is most definitely not the case with this light bar. I would not recommend this light bar until this is addressed.

Should be cheaper
Should be cheaper for the area it covers

Works great! Looks great!
Bought it mainly for the RGB up-lighting, the desk lamp feature is nicer than expected. It's now my nightlight in my room and paints the whole wall in colors. Dimmable dyi.

Not worth it in may ways
Cons: Overpriced, poor light diffusion, inability to angle the light, poor front light hue's and diffusionPros: RGB on the back is nice(this feature can be had for far less $ though)100% would not suggest this light bar. Benq has far better options for a front facing light, Govee has far better options for a rear facing light. There is no reason to buy this, when those two other options combined are the same price and do a far better job. I returned my Benq and this razer and just kept the Govee rear lights as the "reading" modes etc are plenty of brightness for my desk tasks and the light comes from behind so my pen does not cast a shadow. This light ruins the look of an expensive OLED or 4K IPS screen from a light diffusion perspective. Then there is the god awful software. I bought the control pod as well and I have spent the last 4 hours trying to get this POS to connect reliably. Using multiple LLM's to troubleshoot, and the only answer that is consistent is that the device i received must have unresolvable hardware, firmware, or software issues - which i am 99% certain it does not and the software is just garbage. If it can't pair a scroll knob, idk how RGB functions and syncing those functions across hardware is going to work.

Great Light
Very nice light. Fits on top of my 27" monitor very well. The colors are bright. The white light is bright enough for the room, but not overpowering. Easy connectivity with Razer apps.
