Genuinely renter-friendly! Sticks on with soapy water, not glue or adhesive. Easy to measure, cut, and put on by myself. Fortunately, my new windows were the same size as my old ones, maybe slightly smaller, so very carefully I was able to use the same film again.

This window tint fills the bill. It reduces the bright rays of the sun & keeps my house cooler. I am well pleased.

Easy to cut to your space and easy to apply. I thought it was a see out not in but you can see in too!

Does a great job and easy to install.

First: This product is NOT a "one way" film. it passes some light in both directions. it does cut down on heat from the sun, but certainly NOT a one way film.2nd: it's very time consuming to apply, this is not a one person job. I applied to a single window pane, about 40" tall x 30" wide. took over 1 hour for first trial. then remove to re-apply again because it's wrinkled.3rd: applying water to the surface doesn't get rid of wrinkles. it doesn't matter how much water is sprayed or how hard you flatten with a cloth or sponge, it's still wrinkled. I don't see how this film will ever be flat without wrinkles on a glass surface. After 3rd attempt, I've given up. no more film.

So, did the product work? Yes. Was is as advertised (frosted texture)? Yes. However, is it as usable or reusable as they claim? Absolutely not.Now, for some out there who are fortunate enough to have a properly-built and maintained house, this could work as a temporary solution, maybe even a permanent one. For the rest of us, however, this is barely usable at all.I received it, cleaned the window, and installed it on the window. First major issue: THE FILM COVER DOES NOT COME OFF CLEANLY!!! I had to spend a good 15 minutes just working with a knife at the corner to get it to peel, pulled the film cover off, then put it up only to realize that around 1/5 of the film cover had ripped and remained on the film (where there were no knife marks or cuts made, by the way). So, with the film half-up on the window, I had to spend another 15 minutes working with a knife to strip away enough of it to place on the window. I got the film on, but that leads to the second issue.If your windows are even remotely leaky, even a little bit, this will not stick on the window. The main allure of a cheap, static-based film like this is for rentals, where you want a bit of privacy on a budget without the landlord screaming at you about adhesive. The problem with many rentals is that they're generally poor in either construction and/or maintenance, and this is no exception. The window that I attempted to add the film apparently has a tiny air leak in the top-left corner, which immediately blew the entire film off of the window almost like paper, and this is after soaking both the window and film in water with a spray bottle. I get it, this is a static film, but the air current in question was so minimal that I could barely feel a current on my hand during a windstorm.Finally, this film is not at all reusable. I wore gloves from start to finish, I cleaned both windows, and the second window (which was leak-free) that I tried to apply the cut of film to in order to salvage it didn't take at all. I soaked both the film and the second window with a spray bottle, I applied it from top to bottom, and it just kept peeling off.It's thankfully not too disappointing, since I spent less than $30 on this, but it's still a bit of a letdown. Buy this only if you KNOW that it will work in your circumstance.

I was skeptical when I purchased this but I was wrong. This stuff definitely helps keep the sun out. I put it on windows that get direct sunlight and it has helped to keep my house cooler. It wasn’t hard to put up but it’s easier with two people. I’m going to purchase more for some other windows that get direct sunlight. Good price for the product too.

Get yourself a spray bottle and a squeegee to make install easy. I measured twice before cutting to size. With a lot of moisture on the window getting the bubbles out was easy with the squeegee. It blocks all the light, my trimming of the material wasn’t perfect but it does the job keeping out the heat and ALL the light.

It went on very easy. Trimmed easily and provided privacy and relief from afternoon sun. Used a large plastic wallpaper applicator to remove the excess water. Patience is required to get all the water out. Love the final result.

This product looks great in our new home. Lets lots of natural light in while giving some privacy. We trimmed down the top edge along the stone pattern as we thought the straight edge didn't look as good. A couple of notes on install. 1) Measure your window and take 3/16" off for your cut (24" window, cut film at 23-13/16") instead of following the instructions. You won't notice it on the edges, it makes install WAY easier, no cutting after. 2) Spray the outside of the film once it is against the window, prior to using your squeegee to get rid of air bubbles. Makes it work a lot better. Also, we put one piece up and decided it went too high. Easy to peel off and make changes, which is nice.All in all very happy with the product, we'll see how it holds up over time.
