Great book!
An absolutely beautiful book about an amazing person. If you see this review before the end of May 2025, you should consider going to the Morgan Library and Museum in NYC, which has a very thorough exhibit on this intriguing and influential person.

Good read with photos and details of her life.
Couldn’t get to the exhibit at the Morgan library in New York. This book details all the facets of her life. I enjoyed it.

The best book concerning Belle Da Costa Green
The essays were great and covered information not covered in the other historical fiction of non-fiction treatment. The images are outstanding and large with amazing resolution and color. the chapters on passing and other building of black library collections is informative. the Chapters on illuminated manuscripts, the items Belle secured for the Morgan and her personal collection are enlightening and beautifully illustrated.
