I recently got the water sensor with cable after checking other brands. Fortunately I didn’t have any leak. But when I tested it, I received a notification instantly via app, and email. So I definitely recommend their products. Setup was simple and easy and works well. I will be interested in adding more of their products to my home. For the price is a nice kit. Connects good with the WiFi and it’s a small device that fit almost anywhere. Also the cable as one sensor and the unit another one. So you can spread the detection

This is great bit of kit. I use it as a bath alarm. I like the fact that it is loud enough to hear but not loud enough that the whole street can hear it. I like the fact that it has a button to cancel the alarm. It does link to an app on your phone so if you are using it as a water leak device out of sight then it will alert you if it detects water . Great item and great value

Neatly packaged like opening a high end mobile phone and contents did not disappoint. Easily connected to wifi with the switchbot app and just works as it should. Battery state shown on app and good alerts on phone/ tablet etc. Audible alarm is not loud but grabs your attention. My main requirement is phone alert and it does that admirably.

This item is just what I needed. As my boiler is installed in my loft. I've tested it, and it works superb. Being in the loft, u can't hear the alarm very well. This is where the wifi feature is the top key. So if a leak was to happen, it sends the notification to my mobile phone no mater where I am. All tested and fitted by myself. First off, the price - it's good. SwitchBot have made a solid, well designed, clean and functional device. I love the small variance in the sensors. The detection pins are located on both sides of the unit. One set are flush and one slightly indented. This alters the moment of detection, which is a nice, subtle touch. And the extra sensor tail means that the single device can monitor two locations at the same time. So, for example, I have the unit in the drip tray and the external sensor on the floor. This covers several potential failure points in my watering system. It was so easy to connect to wifi. No extra hub is needed and the Switchbot app gives some nice functionality. Changing the volume of the siren, duration and interval gives some nice control options, and (this is the best bit), this little unit can be flipped into a water level warning sensor. This is a cool function for those alternate scenarios. So, to conclude. I looked at the options and chose Switchbot because they make quality smart devices that perform to their specifications and they are reliable. They also integrate seamlessly into my home both technically and aesthetically.

We installed an in-line water filter with fawcett under the sink, but the hose popped off and leaked into the cupboard, fortunately within hearing range, so I bought this to integrate with my Smart Home. It's simple to install, and can be set to trigger an alarm if it detects water for leaks, or to detect a lack of water for things like aquariums where no water equals dead fish. The second sensor is useful for a kitchen cupboard, as it allows you to detect water on both shelves thanks to about a metre of cable between the body and the 2nd sensor, in case the liquid misses one of them. Setup is easy too, as long as your phone is close enough to register, and it reports home whenever it is triggered, so you can see a history of events, which hopefully won't be too long.

Very easy to install and the app is great, I have tested this and it will alert on only a small amount of water being present.

I'm using this sensor to monitor water level in my sump pump pit. The product was easy to install and connect to my wifi. So far so good...no issues or complaints and battery is still at 100% after 6 months of use. Great product for the price.

initial issue: I placed the batteries, and tried the sensor cable, it straight up doesn't work, the sensor on the front of the device does, but no the back and the sensor cable, useless Edit: there are tiny pins behind the device, if you realize that your cable doesn't work either, push the pins forward with something and put the cache back on this device is amazing, you get an alarm that you can tone down or straight up disable it, and still have the notifications on your phone, i use it in a 70L trash bin that i use to store water for aquarium water changes that i have marked with different quantities of water (20,30,40,50,60L) i placed the cable sensor in and hold it with a magnet on the exterior so i can adjust the height of it and get a notification when my RO water reaches the desired amount of water i need
